Despite its small size, the museum houses a remarkable collection of historical artifacts that exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the experience.

A small and very intimate museum with some interesting museum objects. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful mosaic on the floor, numerous ceramics from different eras and regions (in the photo from Greece), interesting sculptures and several Coptic icons.

I had a wonderful tour of this great museum by my guide Manar. She described everything in great detail and showed exceptional knowledge of the artefacts on display. I highly recommend Manar as a tour guide.

We visited this place on the fourth of February. We had a quick and easy entrance, followed by a warm welcome from the museum staff. The museum has artifacts that feature prehistoric times in Egypt, through Greek and Roman Civilization, Islamic and Coptic history and Ancient Egyptian history and it was more than we expected! Special thanks to Mr Ahmed Ismail, who explained each artifact in interesting detail. Our thanks to all of you, for an amazing tour. We’ve never had such a great reception before in any other museum. Highly recommend for when you’re in Ismalia
