Al Moudira Hotel

Al Moudira is luxury from the moment you walk in. The rooms are very beautiful and unique, we stayed in a fountain suite and it was well worth the extra money. The pool facilities were very beautiful and the bar/restaurant staff were very attentive. The steam room was really big and well worth checking out. The entire hotel is very beautiful it feels right out of a movie. Great location for Valley of the Kings.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. If you are considering between this hotel and other 5 star hotels and hesitating due to the price, do not even think even think twice and book this hotel. You can do daily tours to Luxor from this hotel. I would highly recommend doing the tour during the morning and resting in this amazing boutique hotel in the afternoon instead of doing a crazy packed Luxor tour plan. I felt like an Arabian princess walking in the gardens of this hotel. Every detail is well thought and every corner is an art piece. Bed is very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Dinner menu is amazing and everything we ate was super tasty. The yoga teacher is very helpful and informative. Pool is very big and heated. Steam room feels like an ottoman place steam room. Everything is very zen in this hotel. When you enter you immediately feel the peace. What can I further say? Please do yourselves a favor and stay in this hotel

It’s a little bit far from the city (30 min) and that’s a positive thing. There’s silence and the place is quiet. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is big. The hygiene products smell very well; especially liked the body lotion. They offer a good variety of massages and yoga. The food is very good as well. They even have olive oil! as a Spaniard that has gotten my heart. Staff is really attentive and provided any type of help needed. The design of the hotel integrates the outside to the rooms (indoors). There’s a pool but we forgot swimming suit. Don’t think it twice and stay in this hotel!

Very nicely decorated hotel in a traditional Egyptian style, friendly personnel who will help you with anything you need. I recommend to take enough time to discover and enjoy the many beautiful areas of the hotel which a nice to sit and relax. The restaurant is also good - great service and tasty meals with changing courses every day.

I spent a week at Al Moudira with my family. The hotel is beautifully designed, with an airy elegant layout, large rooms, and lovely gardens. Each room is unique, the beds are comfortable, and the decoration is charming.

We explored the Valley of the kings and queens - which is quite convenient from the hotel - as well as the Luxor temples and museum (a little farther away). It was always a relief to escape the hubbub of Luxor and retreat to the sunny swimming pool.

My children loved the pool, which was heated so it was a great temperature despite the colder winter evenings.

The hotel food was excellent. I believe they try to grow everything themselves. We had excellent pizza by the pool, and delicious Egyptian food in the new garden restaurant. Breakfast in the garden was a real winner, with an amazing choice of pastries or cooked breakfasts.

I would definitely return here, and I will be recommending it to all of my friends. It’s a special place.

WOW! We did a visit and heard about this hotel from someone else visiting. We decided to check in for our last night. We wished we had stayed here during our entire trip. It was truly a magical experience. So much so that we all have planned another trip to come back. Make sure to check out all the unique spaces and beautiful decor. It truly feels like like walking into a magical world.

The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor immediately made me feel at home, it was a remarkable experience that exceeded all expectations. We ordered the traditional breakfast with hot tea which was exquisite. What truly set Al Moudira apart was the impeccable service, it was consistently outstanding. Five start dining, stay, and service! Will definitely go back.

Amazing hiden jewel in Luxor, full of magic little corners. All rooms are different, the level of details, like the antique furniture, the handmade craft linen or the colorful window works are remarkable, the taste with which they are decorated makes you feel like special, taken care of.

This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are stunning and the service and restaurant are equally excellent. The standout memory from our trip to Luxor is our wonderful guide Omar who is extremely knowledgeable in Egyptology, and made each of our excursions in the area an absolute joy! We're so blessed to have met Omar who has become our good friend since then, and we still message each other almost a year later as I'm learning Arabic for work in this area and he's helped me so much with this. I highly recommend Omar and will always request him as a guide (and a friend!) whenever wo go to Egypt in future. We stayed at many places and had many guides in Luxor and Egypt and this was our best experience by far. Shukran Omar and our Al Moudira Luxor family!

Such an incredible hotel, the experience was made by the staff. Firstly, the yoga teacher Lavkush is phenomenal. His approach is supportive, authentic, comprehensive and immensely knowledgable. Thank you so much for the restorative, peaceful daily classes (included). If you’re into Yoga, this is an incredible place to go and improve your practice with Lavkush. Secondly, the pool is a hidden oasis with an impressive marble pool with attentive, kind staff including Farrad and his team serving delicious lunches as well as the incredible pizza chef! Such a great additional. Also, the mango and pineapple margaritas by the bartender were delicious, thank you sir. Finally, thank you to Said in security for giving my sister and I and walk through the local village. An absolute highlight to meet such a friendly and welcoming community. Thank you all staff, you made the stay so relaxing and memorable. I’ll be back!

Amazing place. While staying in Al Moudira Hotel we attended an afternoon yoga session and I have to say it was one of the best workouts I have had in a while. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and provided clear instructions throughout the session. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, which helped me to relax and focus on my practice. The variety of poses and sequences were challenging yet manageable, and I felt like I really accomplished something by the end of the session. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for yoga classes to anyone looking for a great workout combined with breathing, mental relaxation and rejuvenation.

We visited before the "season" really began. It is under new management and work was being done. However, it is a luxurious place that is quiet, peaceful, with excellent food and service. It is well away from the usual attractions, which is the only drawback. Literally the only drawback. If you have the luxury of spending days in Luxor, visit the attractions slowly and linger here.

Without a doubt the most wonderful hotel experience I’ve ever had. The building, the grounds, and rooms are all stunning. The food is delicious. But the real magic was the service. Everyone from reception to house keeping to restaurant staff were not just kind and helpful but genuinely joyful and a delight to engage with. Noor and Faraq (who makes a mean margarita) always gracing you with the sweetest of smiles. And a special thanks to Robert for teaching us all our favorite Arabic phrases! Really lovely hotel. After the bustle of Cairo, Al Moudira was an oasis of calm. We were so grateful for the impeccable service, amazing cuisine (the only place in Egypt where we trusted the kitchen enough to eat the produce). The rooms were beautiful and had architectural details to delight. We had private yoga with Lavkush and meeting him was a highlight of our journey.
