Termas de Prexigueiro in Ribadavia, Spain, brings back memories of my beloved Japanese onsens. Here you have a paid hotsprings and a wild river hotsprings.

For the paid hotsprings, you have 7 pools of varying water temperatures amidst a luscious pine forest. 🌲🌲 Rates are between 5,10 to 5,70€ per adult for 90 minutes. Bring your own bathrobe/towel, swimming costumes and slippers. Bring drinking water to hydrate yourself. There is a changing room, WC and a cafeteria.

The WILD RIVER HOTSPRINGS is interesting and popular with the locals. There is a road, closed to cars, just before the parking area for Termas de Prexigueria. Follow the road and walk for about 100 metres. On the left, you will see small pools of cloudy water with a strong sulphur smell. Bring along your towel, swimming costumes and slippers. Enjoy both!

Amazing. Great price too €5 each. Very peaceful place to relax. Lovely staff. Good changing rooms. Beautiful scenery. Good parking. Has cafeteria too for a meal. Got shouted at for taking a photo though.

Amazing location surrounded by trees, a small river nearby and pure calm and nature. Unfortunately some construction works are currently happening which spoils a bit the ideal calm and silence to fully enjoy the thermal circuit. Nevertheless, great experience and highly recommend. 5.5€ for the entire 90minutes circuit is a very reasonable price. Tip: take your own towels to avoid having to rent them.

So amazing, a free thermal bath. It was a good experience, we could be inside hot water and in the next moment we could go into river for cooling.

Whether in the darkness or during the day when you can still see the forest around, the calmness of its atmosphere is just healing. If I lived there I would go at least once a month.

Incredible place! Felt so relaxed after a long day. Definitely one of the best Termas I've visited. Excellent clean facilities and a good price!

Fabulous experience, we came twice during our stay. Once on a weekday and the other on a Sunday. Really friendly staff even with our poor Spanish they were polite, patient and helpful.
The spa pools are well maintained and a perfectly relaxing experience.
We both had a wine bath massage which was amazing. It started with a salt and oil rub then an oil full body massage and then a hot spring bath with a glass of wine and olive. Perfect.
The setting is in beautiful woods with a river walk in the bottom of the valley.
Very peaceful and we will be back.

Termal waters the natural way. Relaxing place to visit. Recommended to be there when they open to avoid crowd.

Lovely spot to sooth your sore muscles. Very busy when we went, there was a ticket system to gain entry. Staff were a little grumpy, but the bar next door were super friendly. There is also a free spot to dip in the hot water just past the carpark and down the hill.

Great option with quite high quality termal water. 5 pool with different water temperatures plus a big jacuzzi. All of that for less than 6 euros per person for 2 hours. You cannot have better quality for less elsewhere. When visiting these hot pools, make sure to check the city Rivadavia, only 5 minutes away. It has a lot of sightseeing places, including a castle, Romanesque churches and an amazing view of the river banks. Highly recommended

Can't complain for 5.70€ but they shouldn't allow kids. The kids were playing and jumping around and diving into the 2 plunge pools. Of course the parents fault as they left them but I think they're should be a minimum age. Easy parking but no private cubicles to change

Super enjoyable - long wait in the summer (last time on the weekend we waited 2h in the cafe) though all worth it!

Though the thermal springs were a trek from Vigo it was worth the distance, driving through forests and entering the remote springs where there is a bar to wet your appetite and have snacks to recover the journey.. The springs themselves make sure you bring towels, flip flop’s otherwise you will have to hire them.. the cost is low though to hire! The shock of the cold water after the thermal pools is enough to invigorate you!! Also great moments like look up at the night sky and stars when your within the pools is a great experience.. well worth it 🤩

Fantastic and relaxing place! You pay 5.6 euro per person, it's 90 mins (including the shower time) which is quite enough. There are 9 baths which you visit in a recommended order. Quiet music and beautiful scenery. Take towels & flip-flops with you, otherwise you'll have to rent. This was my first experience with terms and I absolutely loved it! Outside there's a cafe and separate tables for a picnic. Unfortunately, it's forbidden to make photos inside, but trust me, it's amazing :)

We love it. We like it. It is the best place to relax in an unique environment with an open sky. Early morning or at night in boiling hot water is the best way to forget all concerns. Unforgettable.

Amazing place ! We appreciate the silence and the number of people at a time. Some other thermes are really exploited , very noisy and overcrowded. Thanks for mantaining the sacredness of the experience and not over exploiting such beautiful place!
