Overall, it is small and convenient. They stock some basic food and household supplies that come in handy if you are living in a dorm, or renting an apartment.

After living here in madrid for a quite of time you will figure out where to go and where to buy whatever you need with the best price and quality and for me carrefour is a place where I'm used to go and find the things where its missing from the spanish market that I'm used to back in my home country, if you never went there go ahead its good you might find stuff there you wouldn't find anywhere else.

Open 24/7 and a pretty good sellection. They sell take out food and they also have a small Deli. The underground parking is very conveniant.

One of two biggest supermarkets in Alcalá's downtown (Mercadona is the other). Both are good, but this is my favorite because:

- Is the biggest one.
- More variety of products and brands.
- Best offerts (always there are 2x1 or 50% off)
- High quality of products at cheap price.
- In general you going to spend less than Mercadona.

Obviously you should go to Mercadona to compare
