An exceptionally clean store. The shelves are always full and the staff are so very helpful and friendly. The tall man in the meats section always says hello and let's you know what is on offer. It is not like this in England.

Always good products. Pleasant and helpful staff. Great wines at very reasonable prices. A good selection of fresh and frozen fish and meat. Vegetables and fruit of good quality.

I find Archidona mercadona is easier parking, wider Isles and has a better selection of items too. Worth the extra travelling for me.

In my opinion the best supermarket chain in Spain. A wide selection of food; fresh fruit and vegetables, a wide selection of fish, meat, frozen and ...........Wide aisles which is very important in these current times of the Covid-19 pandemic. For English shoppers you can get your Heinz baked beans and Heinz Wheatabix here and the Spanish equivalent of Digestive biscuits. A 2 pack for 1.10 euros. Also one should not forget the English tea bags that they stock. Wide selection of wines and friends even have a favorite red wine at 1.25 euros per bottle. - My favorite Armónico Seleción 2017 Syrah - Garancha Tinta for 1.90 euros - they have a slightly more expensive (año 2016) on for 2.19 euros (see photo)

From a Spanish website about this bodega "Ya no hace falta ser un sibarita del vino y gastar mucho dinero para saborear un vino de calidad. Mercadona ofrece su Armónico Selección por 1,90 euros la botella.

Elaborado con uva syrah y garnacha por Bodegas Tridado, se trata de un vino muy bien construido. Es fresco, mineral, fino y denso, y ha pasado por barrica."
