I recently went to lalibela and stayed in fikirandraylodge the welcoming started from the airport a guide was waiting for me with my name on a paper and explaining my tour program then arrived at the hotel they welcomed us with Ethiopian coffee ceremony the flowers were on our bigger Beed the room was bigger withe stunning view from our room
The best of all hotels I stayed in Ethiopia the price was very cheap and high quality service the breakfast was very delicious
We recommended you to book your tour through the hotel to make it easy and simple especially when you are there for only two or three days

Highly recommended i been to Lalibela several time staying in different hotel's but this time we stayed at fikirandraylodge the best of all the staff are very professional and so friendly they made our trip so pleasant also the owner was great speaking good English he helped us arranged our tour service the price of the hotel is Chip the hotel Worthing mor way highly recommended

simply the best! please i stayed in northern part of Ethiopia the bed was very comfortable staff members were great the view was great with sunset with balcony
price was fair regarding to other hotels in lalibela highly recommend

My staying at fikir lodge was the greatest time I spent in Lalibela I book other hotel at the first but I saw this lodge walking to Ben Abeba restaurant just beside the road then I moved to this lodge it was fabulous large bed beautiful view from my room very quiet with testy breakfast and the best coffee with great service staff they were all excellent I wish I had booked this lodge on line my next trip number one choices to stay will definitely be fikir and ray lodge prices are very reasonable according to the standard service was professional the bathroom was clean
Wifi was excellent highly recommended

Lalibela es espectacular, sin palabras... Y la buena compañia del guia que nos proporcionó el hotel fue insuperable! Su nombre es Frikemarian, por si quereis contactar con él cuando llegueis al hotel.
Nos hizo las visitas super agradables, con gran conocimiento en general, muy muy simpatico y te ayuda en todo lo que necesitas.
Super recomendable!

El hotel te facilita todos los servicios que necesitas. Te recogen en eñ aeropuerto y te llevan tambien.
La relacion calidad precio es excelente y el trato muy bueno.
Volveria a este hotel seguro.

Wir haben uns in diesem einfachen aber doch sehr liebevoll gestalteten Hotel durchaus wohlgefühlt. Es ist sauber, geräumig, ruhig und das Frühstück sehr lecker mit Omelette, toast, marmelade und Brot...

Beautiful place. Had a bit of hiccup with the staff at the beginning regarding the inclusions but got solved

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. I booked on Orbitz/Expedia and they refused to honor the booking and told me I must pay again upon arrival (and were quite rude in the process -- so I obviously didn't end up staying). This is fraudulent behaviour and they should clearly be banned from booking sites.

AVOID! Made reservation through Expedia but hotel does not honor reservation, same already happened to several people here. Hotel is asking for much higher price or will not accommodate. Good luck if you book this.

Dishonest. I booked one room 2 months in advance and the hotel has cancelled it with no excuse.
