Hudad Lalibela Eco-Lodge & Retreat

Hudad lodge is a magnificent place to connect with nature and experience peaceful relaxation!
I was there 3 years ago Ohhh what a memory, spectacular locations, , amazing view, excellent service.... I feel flying on the top of Lalibela.
Just memory.....

Great situation fantastic views, high above Lalibela. Great interaction with local villagers in the evening with singing and dancing. Really great buffet food. Very different...very good

Einfach romantisch ruhig.

This eco-lodge is exactly what it says. It's very nice for a place that has no electricity. The provide hot water to wash off with and enough blankets to keep warm. I visited in December and was comfortable. The reason for the 3 stars is because even though the service was friendly and food offered was very good, they don't have any prices written down. The lunch they give for trekking up being the equivalent of 15€ (rice and veg...basic). The dinner was even more. It can be a hassle if you don't have enough cash to pay at the end of your stay since the ATM is all the way back down in Lalibela :-/ I highly recommend staying a night. The treks where great. Just beware of prices and try to bring your own food/beer if you are on a budget.

Dificilísimo llegar allá, sitio abandonado

J avais réservé deux jours avant mon arrivée , mais une fois sur place, le gardien n est pas au courant de la réservation , il a fallu appeler le propriétaire pour qu il nous laisse entrer , personne pour nous accueillir , autre appel , le gérant nous assure arriver , trois heures après toujours pas là, l ecolodge n avait vraisemblablement pas reçu de visiteurs récemment et se trouvait en état d abandon , les toilettes n étaient qu un simple trou dans la terre ( ça justifie au moins le terme ‘ ecolodge’) et le restaurant à l abandon . Inadmissible
