After few houres of slow hiking the view from the top of the mountain was magnificent the landscape from the top looks amazing... we manage to capture the sunset on the way out. Total round trip to our car we walk for around 6km.
We prefer to have a boy from the village to guide us instead of the guides. In the day time it's little hot so
It's better to travel in the early morning or afternoon around 3 .

Nothing short of amazing! Simply a must when visiting Ethiopia’s north. The climb is demanding but well worth the effort as the paintings are stunning

It is a church that is built on a Breathtaking & soul healing place. No words! a Church hanging on mountain top 😱😱

Unglaublich. Tolle Wanderung zu den Hölenkirchen. Zwei davon sind hier. Wahnsinnige Aussicht. Der Weg ist anspruchsvoll aber nicht zu schwer. Die Tourguides passen gut auf einen auf.

Wonderful place to visit but don't visit it with "gheralta guides association" they are the worst, they lie to you, and make your travel a bad thing.
