I’ve been to my fair share of luxury hotels, but this one just is perfect in every small detail.

Absolutely delightful stay! The rooms are magnificent, and the staff more than welcoming.
Don’t hesitate, you won’t find a better place in Camargue.

From the moment we set foot in this exquisite boutique hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. The hotel itself is nestled in the heart of the old city, a historical gem that has been beautifully restored to its former glory. The location could not have been more perfect - an enchanting oasis amidst a charming, vibrant neighborhood.

The staff at the hotel are the epitome of hospitality - ultra-attentive, caring, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that each guest has a one-of-a-kind experience. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to cater to our every need, making us feel truly special and valued. Their knowledge of the local area and its attractions is unparalleled, and they provided outstanding recommendations for restaurants and activities throughout our stay.

Now let us tell you about the pièce de résistance: the hotel's stunning SPA. The exquisite design and attention to detail create a serene and luxurious environment that left us feeling completely revitalized. The heated pool is a unique and delightful feature that we simply could not get enough of. Immersing ourselves in the warm, soothing waters was an unparalleled experience that we will cherish forever.

And we must mention the dining options. The hotel's breakfast spread is an absolute feast for the senses, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and a wide variety of delicious options to suit every palate. The pastries were simply divine. Do not, under any circumstances, miss out on this sumptuous experience.

In conclusion, we cannot recommend this exceptional boutique hotel enough. The combination of its enchanting location, attentive staff, beautiful SPA, and delightful dining options make it a truly magical destination. Our stays here were unforgettable experiences that we will always treasure, and we eagerly anticipate our return to this captivating haven.

We stayed at hotel the remparts 3 nights. Manuela welcomed us in a perfect and warm way. Can’t really ask more to this beautiful boutique hotel. The hotel itself is just amazing, a little corner of paradise to relax and forget about everything. Need to say the all the team is very profesional and so careful . Every detail counts and It s clear that the the owners did a very excellent job, both with the team spirit and with the whole building. Cleaning is perfect too. The plus to all the above is the elegance of the french people in general. They communicate in a different way and is so much appreciated. We will recommend to all our friends and will return for sure. A big thank to the spa team, we booked 2 massages and we strongly recommend It too. THANK HOTEL DE REMPARTS

Our stay at the Hotel des Remparts far exceeded our (high) expectations. I arrived late at night with two small children, and the staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and professional. It was nice that they had fully planned for our arrival, down to welcoming items in the room for the kids! Travelling is much more challenging in 2022 that it used to be, and these special touches mean a lot.

I am not sure how many guests were staying at the hotel the evening we arrived, but the kitchen remained open for us, and we got a healthy, delicious dinner as room service.

The hotel decor is modern and chic, and our room was well-designed and comfortable, with all amenities.

I had originally booked this hotel as a stop before traveling on to a well-known hotel on the Riviera, and was honestly far more pleased with our stay here than the other place... to the extent that we are considering taking a holiday in Aigues-Mortes just to come back! Excellent experience, and highly recommend.

Very nice place. The outside sitting area with the sofas is really comfy and the view on the walls and the Constancy tower is stunning. After the long walk all around the city it is really the best place to have a rest ! Moreover there is a good choice of local wines - you should try the 'sables de camargues' !

We found this hotel when searching for somewhere to stay along the southern French coast and so glad we did! Everything was amazing, especially the opportunity to stay in a walled historic village. The hotel was beautifully restored, the service and food were first class, as was the spa treatment I received. The hotel room was very spacious and had everything in it you could imagine. Very quaint village that was fun to explore. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the south of France, or to locals who just want to get away and relax!

We had a wonderful stay at your historic and unique hotel. We were particularly impressed with the family and attentive staff that I was there to serve us for every moment of our stay. We especially appreciated the luxurious and modern renovation that has retained the historic quality and feel of a very unique location in the world. You made us feel very special and we would love to return.

Despite the COVID-19 problems, we had a fantastic stay. To be honest, a little surprised to find no hotel staff at the hotel for breakfast at 07h30 to 08h30 on the Sunday morning.
However, apart from that, the staff were incredibly professional and attentive. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are fantastic. Just the right size hotel for us and a real gem of a boutique hotel.
Having travelled much, we would definitely put this amongst our favourite hotels and will certainly be back.

We arrived for a four day stay and were given a very warm welcome by Allison, who could not have been more helpful, showing us to our room which was spacious, loads of storage and room for our dogs bed,and with modern bathroom with separate toilet, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. the restaurant provided an amazing menu with a meal which was truly fit for a king with service and ambiance to match.
We are so pleased to have found this treasure with its old fashioned quality and standards accompanied by such a brilliant restaurant and will most certainly be returning for special occaisions

I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The interior design and innovative way of using the space was absolutely incredible -they had matte black finishing with beautiful hardwood and tile flooring details. The bathtub was massive, comfortable and gorgeous and it has the largest rain shower I’ve ever seen. It all felt very sleek and modern within this wonderful old castle. The perfect juxtaposition.

The location also couldn’t be better. You step right out into the heart of Aigues-Mortes and could sit on the stylish patio until super late.

The staff was lovely and all spoke English really well which I greatly appreciated as my French is terrible (I’m coming all the way from Canada!)

I travel a lot and have stayed in many many hotels and I would have to say, honestly, this might be my favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Dear, we really enjoyed the stay at your hotel. Well thought true concept and relaxed atmosphere:-)
They only thing we would advise is to have hooks to hang on your rope at the swimming pool, you now have to drop things at the side, and probably some more points to hang your towel in the room.

An amazing architectural restoration in one of southern France's most intact walled medieval cities where people actually live.

The building has been rebuilt with love, sweat, craftsmanship and vision by a young family to world class standards.

Just as important is the equally flawless service. The couple actually run the hotel and set the service standard themselves. When was the last time tour bellman owned the hotel or were waited on by the co-owner of a small hotel chain.

Yes this is not their first rodeo world travels and collectors of unique historic properties. While this hotel is only 2 years old they have successfully built up from a single hotel in the walled city of Carcassonne to 3 hotels in that UNSCO world heratiage site, riding from success to sucess.

The hotel has a full bar and wine selection, tapas, and continental breakfast available on the front deck or hip interior but not a restaurant. Don't fret, while the walled village is small there is at least a weeks worth of fine restaurants tucked away down the medieval streets bedecked with flowers.

One tiny note of caution is rooms 1-5 may still faintly hear the "club" music played on the front deck until 11pm. We had room 1. There is also private indoor parking if arriving with an expensive car. Multiple languages spoken.

Overall an excellent stay in a fabulous place where the charm of the owners really shines through. Your recommendations were also excellent, including the memorable drive to La Gracieuse beach.
