The hotel is in the city center, 1 min from the beach. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The room was small but really cozy with everything what you need. The price was really valuable for what you get. Free parking includes the price. I would definetly choose it again.

Wonderful stay, the manager was so helpful and welcoming upon arrival. We were shown to the room and given details of the breakfast and local area. Car park is excellent and rooms have reserved places! We had the family room on the top floor, view was amazing and room very well finished and smelt great as did the stairs. Breakfast was also great with various options and fresh cooked omelettes and crepes along with some great breads and pastries. Highly recommend and would stay again when back in the area

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. We had the family room all the way up high. Gorgeous view and nice comfortable room. We also ate at the restaurant 2x. The owner or manager was very nice and even though they closed fit us in.... we loved our stay in this quiet town which played a pivotal role in WWII. So much history here and lovely people. Everything does close early so worth eating at prescribed times or go to CAEN or Bayeaix which isn't too far away.

Warm day. Cool shady comfortable table. Immaculate. Bacon cheese burger and fries. Served at temperature perfection (by which I mean I could not pick up my burger for a minute or I would have gotten burned). It was not just burger though, but a really good quality ground steak bigger than the bun. A wonderful sauce. Really great hot fries. My wife ended up liking the “cottage cheese with fruit that she ordered although it was not what she thought it was going to be. Being from the states she thought it would be what we consider conventional cottage cheese in curd form with a few little pieces of fresh fruit diced on the side. This is a dessert. Whipped. Almost like a fruit and yogurt cup. But she did like it. Really nice friendly guys that are very helpful.

Visited the restaurant with a friend. We were very pleased with our visit. I had shrimps as a starter, meat as a main course and finished with la crème brûlée à la vanilla. Everything tasted excellent.

Great place and great service! If you are looking for some really good food, come here! Fresh fish and friendly service in English or French. Great if you have a fish lover and burger/fries lover. So everyone is happy. Ps the bathroom is very clean! Happy customers!

We have been going here for nearly 4 years. As I said 3 years ago...."Would not stay anywhere else". My opinion is still the same. Marie-Caroline and her staff are professional through and through. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Everywhere is spotless. Its a pity we have to come home. Food is of excellent quality and choice. La Maison du 6 is the one place you can rely on to be perfect. It even has free parking in its own car park. The Villa next door is also a beautiful place to stay. Once you have read this.....just book and enjoy.

Marie warmly greeted us by name and was very accommodating to our needs! She showed us to our room and made sure we were sure about how to work everything! She truly was the perfect host and we became fast friends! The room smelled amazing due to the welcoming scent of essential oils she used to prepare our room. The room itself was fully equipped with everything we needed and was modern with the latest technology. The Wi-Fi was strong and secure as was the building and our room. We LOVED the location right near the water and could hear the waves at night. The museum's are well within walking distance and other d-day attractions were easily reached by car. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in the Normandy beach area

Excellent location near all beaches. Very clean and great service. We stayed Room 5 and it was great. My brother family (6) stayed in villa and it was perfect. Would recommend.
