Been a few times to The Acorn
Staff are always friendly and polite
Inside and out is always clean and tidy.

Can order at the bar or from your table using the QR code.
Inside seating is a good size as is outside too

The beer garden with astroturf and tv is very good.
Benches arnt too close together either. Nicely distanced apart.
Food doesn’t take too long.
The food is good with plenty of choice

Can't fault the place, big car park, lovely decor, very spacious inside,looks recently decorated and smart. Looked like a well kept outside area with heat lamps and a large screen TV. Menu is good pub food, my son had the gammon, I had a jacket potato with prawns and salad,lots of choices, both really nice. The best bit was the dog menu! dog friendly pub with dog meals from a couple of pounds, our furry companion had the roast chicken with carrots and gravy, I put a few kibbles in it and she licked the dish clean. Staff were friendly especially a lad called Keiran who was very helpful, happily checking what was in the dog gravy for us and welcoming us to the place. Would highly recommend and especially if you have a dog. Bowl of water supplied also.

We came here yesterday 16/05/24. First of all this pub is beautiful inside and put. The acorn is dog friendly. We chose to eat outside in the massive beer garden.

We had lunch here. We both had a mixed grill. A j20 and 2 tonic waters. We ordered via the QR code.

The manager served us I know this as I asked her name. She is called Hannah,
Hannah has outstanding customer service, she brought us our drinks and me a pint glass without asking for both of my tonic waters to go in. Brilliant!

As we had the dogs with us I asked for a bowl of water which was brought in a proper dog bowl. Then we were provided with a doggy menu, even though we didn't take advantage of it this time. We will no doubt in the future.

Our mixed grills were cooked very nicely. Meat was flavoursome and steak cooked as asked. Only negative was the onion rings were over cooked and so was the eggs.
Everything however was really good and great for the price.

Hannah took the time to chat to us and interact with the dogs.

Absolutely brilliant place! Booked a table for my dogs birthday and they have a proper dog menu! I haven’t found anywhere else so dog friendly. They made our experience very special. Highly recommend

Came for meal and drinks for our Anniversary and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and the staff were lovely. I pre-booked through the website and find it easy to do so. Was slightly worried it was going to be noisy due to it being a sports bar but as there are different sections to sit in, it was very pleasant and quiet were we were seated. We have decided to visit one night during the week for a meal out and if it is just as nice then it may become one of our locals.

Lovely place we visited tonight small tables and busy so had to make a table of 4 for 5 so would advise to book a table food was great. Unfortunately they don’t ask about allergy’s and the chicken wings and nacho comes with chives on and we never read the small print (our fault) and I’m allergic. A belting little place we will be back thanks guys staff are amazing 🤩

Lovely chilled atmosphere, beautiful Mother's Day 3 Course menu, attentative and friendly staff.. Safe open outside space for kiddies to play.

The Acorn is a very spacious, well kept pub, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, I thought the outdoor covered area with the big TV was a nice touch. Lots of parking available.

I've not been to The Acorn in a few years, but we thought we would pop in today for some lunch. I've never had a bad meal here, my gammon steak with chips, peas, egg and pineapple was delicious today. The Acorn is very dog friendly and I highly recommend checking out the dog menu if you visit with your dogs also.

The staff were all very helpful and attentive, especially Kieran.

The bar servers and the waiting staff were really nice and the food wasn't delicious. We all choose the Sunday roast and we preferred it over a carvery! Some of is had desserts and the chocolate torte is divine. Will definitely return again. Thankyou 😊

Lovely meal with family. Several orders from different people at the same table and they waited for everyone to complete their order.
Staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
We had 2 vegans in the party and the staff were very knowledgeable about it. Lovely to see that acknowledged.

I'm a few days late with this feedback. I visited the Acorn with my sister early this week. I had previously visited and ate here before and had a lovely meal. So this time I had the mega mix grill which was awesome and my sister had the baked potatoes with prawn, which she thoroughly enjoyed too.

So thank you Nathan for great service and the welcome, also thank you Hannah chef for the great food. Will definitely visit again soon.

Today's lunch was a delightful experience with mouthwatering dishes. The staff's warmth and assistance added to the pleasant atmosphere. Sian's culinary skills shone through, and Beth's attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

really good service from Anna and chef Beth. great selection of offers on food and drinks aswell. Anna also showed me an allergy filter on their website as well as given me a gluten free menu which was very helpful. will definitely recommend to others!

Lovely friendly staff, always quick efficient and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. We visit every couple of weeks with our children during both quiet and busy times and have never had to complain once about anything. Highly recommend

I went before with my wife when it was the brickwork and the food wasn't very good and the staff was not so helpful with poor service.
This time, the food was really good value for money, and the beef just melted in your mouth would be back again. Thanks for the great service and friendly service and atmosphere.

Could not eat at a more comfy and friendly environment. Service by Beth was absolutely fantastic and made sure we enjoyed the experience!! Compliments to the Chef Sian as well!! Absolutely brilliant!! Michelin Star Food!! Can't wait to visit again!!
