The pub opened yesterday for the first time in months and the lady who served us was amazing. Patient, calm, hard working and always cheerful. Thankyou. Loved my first couple of pints xx

Fantastic pub, outdoor service with track and trace evident, completely safe outdoor drinking experience. The ales are fresh and top condition served by very enthusiastic staff, the atmosphere in the open air square is vibrant and will appeal to young and old, this must be one of the best pubs in North Warwickshire and comes highly recommended, oh and the prices reflect the value for money for the quality ales on offer.

A wonderful, friendly English pub with real ale the focus - as it should be! Dog friendly - for those who own one and care about that sort of thing - and clean and comfortable throughout. Highly recommended!

The reason I am leaving this review is when we were doing work around the Angel on the jubilee weekend they offered us drinks and use of their welfare facilities which was over and above anything I would expect from a business or anyone really. Many thanks for making our weekend a lot better than it could have been :) I will be going back for some drinks in the future to repay the kindness shown to us.

White and black historical town pub opposite the parish church and market place with frequent award winning beers and ciders. There are six excellently kept beers on at any time and a satisfying choice of ciders. Ample parking in front and behind with easy access to the market and town centre. Friendly atmosphere and record player provides customers with the choice of albums spanning several decades. Awarded CAMRA pub of the year, it holds beer and cider festivals. Staff welcoming and will talk through the beers with you, even giving samples first before you buy. Toilets very clean. Large room at the rear for an even quieter drink. Smashing venue for groups and families. Beer festivals, live music and quiz nights feature. Atherstone is so lucky to have this gem.

Well they are open and selling real ale. Ok its al fresco, but who cares? For a long time now the Angel has been the best pub in Atherstone. It sells real beer at the right price.
While other pubs refused to open because it wasn't profitable, the Angel is supplying the needs of it's loyal customers. Well done keep up the good work. J

Really tasty selection of IPAs, very reasonably priced, and little vials of them so you can see the colours beforehand. Tasters on request. Small quaint historic feeling interior. Bit of a dump outside.
