Stepping into Chase Cafe is like the feeling you get when coming home after a long walk. Sit back and enjoy the tea and cake whilst admiring the charming rustic interior and stunning view across Derwent Valley. There's seating outside for those sunny summer days and a log fire for those cold wintry afternoons.

Great cup of coffee, lovely vibes inside, and a really tasty sausage sandwich! Views are great outside too. Perfect stop off on a walk!

A lovely little find with delicious food and drink. No faff - just lovely, quality food and fantastic service. They were very busy on the day we went with lots of cyclists so it took a little longer but they were very (unnecessarily) apologetic even though we’d already had one round of food and drink!

We would 100% recommend this cafe and will definitely be returning.

Simply put, the best cafe in the area by miles. Freya's homemade cakes are a sight to behold. On our last visit we sampled the most amazing Biscoff cookies fresh from the oven. Coffee is excellent and the ample breakfasts use only the finest local ingredients. The Holloway road closure threatens small businesses like this but they deserve our support. Pop in if you're nearby. You're sure to get a very warm welcome.

Lovely food, great coffee. Great menu with things like beans on toast and lovely cakes. Very nice decor inside. Seating outside with bike locks and dog bowls. Not sure if there's a toilet as wasn't required. Card and cash payments taken.

Been here a few times now, service is always friendly, lovely little well run cafe, do some lovely evening themed evenings /cocktail nights too, the food is fantastic and all homecooked,poached eggs are done to perfection, coffee is lovely, the cakes are lovely, the highlight today though was the salted caramel blondie, it was heaven ,the caramel sauce in it was also homemade,hands down the nicest blondie we have ever tasted and believe me we have tried many, visit if you are in the area,you won't be disappointed, also dog friendly inside too !

Great Little Café in Holloway under new ownership, helpful and obliging staff and fantastic homemade cakes, excellent coffee and freshly made meals. New owners finding their feet and providing great fresh cooked food, however if you want fast-food go to McDonald's.

We discovered this gem whilst out walking and searching for much needed refreshment! The staff are super friendly and the cake choices they have are incredible, we definitely will be back to sample more as the spiced apple cake we had was AMAZING 🤩

Lovely food and drink from a family run business 👌

Stopped here on a cold day for a coffee and a hot breakfast cob. Nothing disappointed. I will continue to include the Chase Cafe as one of my go to places to stop for a breather and something to eat. Keep it up.

Great place, really nice coffee, friendly service with a team that always seem to really care about what they are doing. amazing location with lovely views. Cakes incredible and wide variety of food.
