Auchencairn Stores

During a seven day stay at Auchencairn Tower Lodge we popped into this shop quite a few times to sample their wares. Pizza- fantastic. Fish and chips, wow- what a decent portion. Flat white and a pot of tea, lovely. Friendly staff and dog friendly too, what's not to like.
We wish the shop and staff well.

Wow! What a wonderful anniversary tea party we had! Every piece delicious, perfectly seasoned and enjoyed by everyone. The GF ,and Vegetarian options were very much appreciated and everyone are them and loved them.

Brilliant place. A real oasis on our bike ride today 🚴. Very friendly staff and excellent food choices. Real community vibe. Good to know we can also hire e-bikes from here.

Fantastic little community run shop/cafe/bakery. Amazing homemade produce as well as the usual essentials. Definitely worth a stop off!

My wife and I stopped off at Auchencairn Post Office today for tea and cake.
We were greeted in a very friendly manner by a lady who served us and chatted to us about this new venture and the village In general.
The tea and cake were lovely, we will certainly be back here and thoroughly recommend it.

Pretty brilliant all round. A local shop with the usual Mars bars, tea, cat food etc., but also stocked with amazing organic eggs, bacon and milk. Phwoar!

Auchencairn is such a cute town with some of the friendliest people! The inside of the Post Office and the cafe aren't anything special, but the people that work inside make the place great. I would love to see the community come together to make Auchencairn a place for visitors to stop...at the moment it's more of a drive-through town. If they were to update the cafe, work with local artists, and maybe even create an attraction, I could see this town bringing in more tourists/money! The wicker man lives here, he would be a great place to start!

We are so lucky to have this amazing shop in Auchencairn, it seems to stock everything you need, serve delicious food including daily fresh baked bread and delicious cakes, do a daily evening meals again delicious and have really friendly staff.

Bought organic milk from Torr farm . It is very good . Very friendly folk in the shop and they are selling the jewellery I make too .

Excellent range of groceries, friendly staff and delicious bread and baking. Definitely well worth a visit if you're in the area.
