Always a fun ride. Like a decent mine train ride with a twist!

Angst of my favourite rides at Alton towers, amazing coaster with a cool and unique twist.

Good 'coaster with a surprise half way into the ride. ( If you've never been on it before of course!) I've found that the best time to go is after 3pm when the coachloads of kids have to make their way back, otherwise you'll be waiting hours to go on a ride. Probably not fiesable if you live a fair way away though. Also, a gold pass is brilliant, go every day if you live near!

The ride is absolutely spot on!
It's fast and fun! Also, the queue inside the crypt, where you board the train, is actually very well themed (not the one outside though). I would object to the fact that this ride is deemed a family coaster. It's actually very fast! The "infamous" vertical drop in the crypt is meant to be the scariest part, but actually it isn't that bad! What is really scary is the very first drop, it is so fast and long! I was actually caught out of surprise!

Really good roller coaster, excellent when someone hasn't gone on. Can't say because it spoils it. Great ride

Good family thrill coaster with a difference. There is a surprise drop of the whole train drop tower style and then a fast reverse in the dark tunnel. Excellent theming. Friendly ride operations and always worth a re-ride.

Probably one of my favourite rides at Alton Towers. I love the theming of a creepy woods and of course the little twist to the ride makes it so much more fun!

Most original rollercoaster experience I've ever had. Definitely worth the queue wait if you've never been on this ride. Prepare for a surprising "twist"

I went here with my school. The teachers who were there with me said that this ride had a surprise. I didn't know what it was. When the ride stopped in that little cabin thing, I thought the ride was over. Little did I know, I was wrong. I felt the cart drop, and then felt it starting to go backwards. I screamed so loud. It was terrifying. Terrifying and fun.

Honestly I think I underrated this ride because I didn’t go on for a few years, but boy is it FUN! The first big drop is fantastic, it’s really smooth and the ending is just full of adrenaline and spooks. The backwards section is also fabulous, though wish it had a bigger drop.

Great family ride, but queues can be very long. Head there first thing to avoid this. Wait for the drop it's a real tummy turner!!!! Update-they seem to make the queue quicker now so we'll worth a visit.

Definitely one of the more thrill seeker rides, surprise drop at the end.

My 1st time on this Awesome ride, the 1st drop is ace and all through out the was filled with trill! The drop in the dark was epic and lasted a lot longer than what I expected. Didn't expect it to start going backwards so quickly either which also added to the fun of this ride ! Th13teen is definitely a ride that I'd recommend!

Great opening ride for me. Love the double jeopardy too. Can't believe it's been 10 yrs open though?!

I’ll start by saying I’m no thrill seeker! Whilst queuing for this ride I was nervous and unsure….fast forward 1 min 40 secs and I was grinning from ear to ear! It’s just a lot of fun without being too adrenaline filled. The initial drop and twists and turns are so much fun. My 11 year old who is not keen on the bigger rides went on this……..13 times 👻. Staff all brilliant and friendly too.

The queue wasn't that bad for this ride. It's a fun rude with a twist...or drop depending how you look at it. Defo worth waiting for this ride.
