Very friendly, helpful staff. The quietest sleep I've had in years, in a very comfortable room. Excellent place to rest and recover when finishing the Hadrian's Wall Path.

We were staying at the campground for one night after finishing the Hadrians Wall path and everybody there was very welcoming. There are showers and toilets at the campground which are both very clean. In the pub they serve great food!

Fantastic location and we were very well looked after before starting Hadrians Wall walk.
Room was beautifully designed and so close to the start of the walk. Have to say I loved the cockerel even if it was early.

1st nights base for our Hadrians Wall walk. No complaints at all in fact the only negative was a noisy Cockerell early hours of the morning. 🐔 . Fully recommended

Stayed on the camping field for 2 nights , owners couldnt do enough for us, restaurant and bistro were great food was lovely. We would definately return

Very modern clean and tidy. Very good customer service. Home cooked food. They even dropped us off at the train station after our stay. Highly recommend.

We went for lunch on Friday 28th August, meals were delicious hot and well presented, everywhere clean followed covid for cleaning, friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed, still some work in progress outside will be great when all finished,

Great place for a start of the Hadrian’s Wall walk. Friendly staff, good food, good service.
But the family room we had was quite small and the way it was arranged and the items that were used needed to look luxury but were right out not very clever. For instance the design sink and tap. You can't put the water kettle under it, you can't wash yourself without wetting the floor.
The plumber and construction workers did quite a poor job too.
This all shouldn't prevent you for coming, you will have a good time anyway, but that is why I don't give 5 stars

Locking system for room was a bit tricky. Wifi in room didn't work (but it's ok). Room needed more ventilation.

Great location at the end/start of Hadrian's wall path.... very cosy room, clean, nice staff and good food and beers.... in the average the price
