We had a great dinner here on Jan 2, 2024

The leader of our group called ahead so the owner would have time to prepare our meal for 17 people, including children.

All of us enjoyed the food. It was very flavorful but at the same time it was simple. We either had beef shish kabobs or chicken, both being served with french fries, all being cooked by charcoal fire.

There were no other sauces, catsup, or hot sauces served. Remember, this is Dalaba, Guinea. We also only had water to drink.

It didn't matter, everything was good.

Very friendly owner that can help with a lot like getting the best price for motor taxis to Ditinn or other places for example. The place is very clean. No running water and only sporadic electricity unless the generator is on. That is no different from the rest of Guinea though.

Very friendly staff, you get to know the entire family quickly ;-) Rooms simple and ckean, but no running water.

I stayed here for two nights. I will say that he came out at 1am to let me in when we got in very late which I appreciated. However there was no running water and the room had mold and mildew. After the second night I started feeling ill so I told him I had to move because of allergies, and he lost it, shouting at me that as it was past noon so I had to pay for the 3rd night anyways. He kept shouting so I just paid because I was ill and needed to leave. He accused me of being racist, which I didn’t engage him on, and just paid and left. Not an ideal situation. Otherwise Dalaba is a real gem of a place and I had an amazing time.
