This is a beautiful family facility with excellent service! It seems like maybe it is a little bit older but well-maintained, pretty and rather quiet.

They have two pools- one shallow and one deep. They also have snacks, drinks, sandwiches, hamburgers and fish. I didn't try the fish (it was an entire tilapia with the head and tail still on it) but it smelled very good and several people in our party said it was very good. The fish takes a long time to make so be sure to order it early!

Everything was very clean when I was there- the dining area, swimming area, restrooms, grounds, all of it. You can see the whole kitchen from the counter and the kitchen was amazingly clean!

There were 13 or 14 of us in our group and I think everyone enjoyed the day; it was fun and very relaxing and the people that work there are all very kind.

This place is a paradise when you realize the water problems that this Guatemalan community is facing. The region is amongst the hottest places in Central America and these pools are a relief against hot weather.

Great price-service ratio. Poor food in the hotel, great and cheap outside. Save yourself some buck and dine at Paradero-comedor

It's big and clean and professional, and the bathrooms are clean. IT is a good place to stop, specially for the stop Guate Rio Dulce, or Guate, Puerto Barrios.
