Zala Beach Stara Baska

Spectacular beach with nice views! Surprisingly cold/warm water - odd phenomenom during snorkling (blurred vision).

It’s absolutely a beautiful beach for visiting and spending a day there to enjoy the sun and the sea. There is only a little shop there for selling the ice cream and drinks. If you are planning to spend long time there, it’d be good to prepare some food. Otherwise, no complaints at all. The water is limpid and can do snorkeling.

Beautiful cobble beach, the water is clear and very cold.
There's a public parking (5kn/h) and a private parking (10kn/h or 30kn for the full day). The machine to pay the public parking only accepts coins, you can also use cards but for some reasons it didn't work when I tried, and the display is broken so it's almost unusable causing long waiting queues.

This is our favorite beach in Krk. The colors were obsolutly amazing. Water was realy clear but also cold. You can take a trail to see the other beach near it. Parking available, private and public. There is also a beach bar. I sugget to visit it!

What a lovely beach. Small beach, pebbles, super crystal clear water, nice little beach bar, plenty of parking. What else could you want to spend a blissful day at the beach? Highly recommended it.

One of the best beaches on Krk Island that are easy reachable on foot. Gorgeous white pebbles with a turquoise sea. It is also well known for underwater freshwater springs which makes the water a bit cooler in this bay than in some near bye. Unfortunately now it gets crowded which was not the case 10 years ago.
On the right side, the cliffs are perfect and easy climbed jumping spot.

This is a small beach. The water is soooo clean and a little bit cold. The parking lot owner is very nice. Parking fee is 30kn /day. Bring food.

If you would like to spend a few night here in a tent, you wont regret it.
The staff are nice, the price is okay and the place is beautiful. Very close to the nature, outside of the city.

There is everything you need - wild nature, rock which alouds to jump from hight, little beach bar and WC. And the road leading to Zala leaves you speachless.

Can not describe how beautiful it has been!

Nice large beach, often crowded since it can be reached by car. No shades, small kiosk with ice and drinks. Cold water springs in cca. 10m distance from the beach.

Beautiful beach with one of the most unusual water temperatures, on top cold but warm deeper with beautiful bottom and fishes.

Beautiful and remote beach... There is a small road leading to it... No services provided here.. just beach

One of the best beaches on the island, if you look for the less touristic spots with enough infrastructure to feel safe at the same time. Parking is close by and the roads bring you close enough. You should take something that provides shade though, like an umbrella or small tent.
