Melt - Gelato & Brunch Bar

Being gluten-free, finding great options can be a challenge, but Melt in Zagreb has consistently impressed us. Their variety of gluten-free choices is remarkable, from delicious ice cream to amazing toast options. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. However, the only downside we’ve encountered is the lack of decaf coffee options. Overall, Melt is a fantastic spot for those with dietary restrictions, offering tasty treats and excellent service.

Saturday was bustling, packed with people and a bit cramped.

The food was delicious, especially the juicy chicken bagel.

The oat milk chai latte was tasty, though a tad sweet for my liking.

Surprisingly, the service was swift and friendly!

This is my classic "let's go for brunch" place in Zagreb, as well as my "I want ice cream" spot. I love their avocado toast and brioche. It's often quite crowded, and sitting outside is practically impossible due to the limited seating and the busy street. Can be pretty noisy inside.

I absolutely loved my experience at this cafe! The pancakes and waffles were incredibly delicious. The strawberry or blueberry jam on both were so fresh and natural. The staff was warm and hospitable, creating a delightful atmosphere, and the cafe's central location in the main square was ideal. Not to forget, the brand name is quite catchy as well!

To the cafe: it would be nice to also have a veggie version of the melt breakfast without the egg / meat :))

Delicious food and an excellent celiac-safe menu. Everything I have tried was tasty, especially pistachio ice cream and seasonal waffles with caramel and pear. The service however can be really slow and confused.

Great place for brunch in the center of Zagreb. Highly recommend their acai bowl. They have a lot of healthy savory and sweet options. The staff was kind and friendly, really good service. Atmosphere is really cozy and space is really cute and small.

The atmosphere is really rustical and cozy, the staff very friendly. If there is a lot of people at the restaurant, it can be that you have to wait a bit longer than usual. Their breakfast dishes are amazing. Especially the pancakes with berries and the bacon with avocado toast, sunny side up eggs, champignons, homemade bread and cherry tomatoes. Their smoothies are also so delicious!

Very nice small ice cream and brunch place in the very center of Zagreb. The majority of the items on the menu are gluten-free and that's wonderful. We had a delicious "Melt breakfast". A loaded plate with wonderful things. The espresso is delicious as well. Top recommendation. A small minus was the long waiting time, but there was plants of things to talk about, so it didn't matter! 😉

Nice place, very good atmosphere. Sometimes it is full, so you have to wait. But it is worth it. Quality coffee, plant milk available, vegan options on the menu, I especially recommend peanut butter toast with fresh fruit.

Very cute brunch spot in the center of Zagreb. The space is very small so better to arrive early on the weekends. Great variety healthy options.

Great place for celiacs to eat without worries!
I found Zagreb generally quite a difficult city to eat gluten free, but Melt made up for this (at least in terms of breakfast/lunch). The food was very tasty, the portions were good and the staff friendly. I recommend the ‘melt breakfast’ and definitely a slice of their homemade chocolate banana bread. We also came back in the evening for ice cream which was also delicious. My girlfriend, who is not a celiac, nor follows a gluten free diet, really liked the food too. She had the avocado toast which was also very tasty.

Would definitely recommend for anyone, whether you eat gluten-free or not, you will have a nice meal!

Great place, especially if you are looking for GF food. Food is fresh and wholesome with good range of breakfast & lunch items. We had Green smoothies and Quinoa salad bowls which were really tasty. It's a busy place but staff are on it with good service.

Coffee is great. They have a few vegan ice creams (chocolate or peanut when we were in, they ran out of the 3rd option).

we went there for breakfast. i ordered avocado toast and cafe latte. it was really delicious but unfortunately coffee wasn't warm enough.

interior design was simple yet pretty i really like the vibes. on the other hand place was full i guess that's why we've waited so long. but overall all it's worth it.

Favourite place in Zagreb for breakfast, brunch. The smoothies and food are delicious. And end with a nice cup of coffee. Very popular place and so it should be.
Also worth mentioning —> hard working bunch of young people!

Everything was perfect!! Great coffee, beautifull brunch, chicken bagel with 2eggs and bacon is to die for and also acai with homemade peant butter. after we tried vegan homemade gelato blackberry and dark chocolate! thank you for great service, you guys are the best <3

Delicious coffee and breakfast! Super happy to have oat milk and almond milk options for our coffee as well as vegan breakfast options. We ate breakfast here twice because we enjoyed it so much. My favorite was the smoothie bowl, so fresh and tasty! Interior is really cute and the staff is super friendly!
