Hotel Vila Conte and Olive Tree Restaurant

Absolutely great! The first couple of evenings during our stay we always passed by this restaurant as it is a bit off the water. On the last night we decided to eat here and it turned out to be the best dinner of our entire stay. The service is extremely polite and courteous. The menu is rather international, but there are also typical Croatian dishes. The quality and taste of the food is exceptional. We were 110% satisfied and will definitely come again. There was also live music from a really great singer who sang into the night. Great atmosphere - great food - great service.

The terrace and restaurant are nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the olive trees, which I personally love completely. Staff excellent. We were served by a young, attentive and beautiful boy. You can pay by card, which is an exception on a small island.
I can only recommend. I would say this is one of the best restaurants and bars on the island.

We had dinner at Olive tree hotel...excellent food,friendly staff and great owner who treated us with respect and offered us with free dessert and coffee ... highly recommend it.

The prices were moderate (everything's more expensive these days) and the food was incredibly delicious. Best burger we had in years and the fish was excellent. The deserts were absolutely to die for. I will be back any day.

We had an excellent break staying at Hotel Vila Conte in Veli Lošinj. Our room had a beautiful sea view; TV; kettle; wardrobe; private bathroom and air conditioning.

All the staff were extremely pleasant; welcoming and helpful at all times with someone on the front desk 24hr.

The food provided and service in the restaurant was spot on; highly recommended. We also had a choice of continental or buffet breakfast which suited us perfect.

We just went to the restaurant for lunch. The food is really really good, definitely one of better experiences on two islands. We took black risotto (top), hamburger (very good, on "burger" level), octopus ragu (unconventional for octopus, but well cooked), fish soup (proper, no instant kind). It's much better than typical Croatian sea side restaurant. Definitely will be coming back.

One of the best meals during our trip to Croatia. They grill to perfection (both, seafood and meat), the portions are just the right size and very attentive waiters. Enjoyed it a lot!

Fantastic experience! The staff are lovely and very helpful. The food is fantastic, and the breakfast is nice. Very highly recommended. No other in this price range is even close.

We liked the food, it varies from the usual cuisine you get in croatia. It is similar but with a little twist of its own. The prices are maybe a bit heavy as they are in all Kroatian restaurants, but as from others this restaurant despite the prices did not disappoint.

The restaurant Olive Tree is a real gem. The food is incredible. We had delicious fresh sea food at a very attractive price. Try the lemon tarte!
The service was amazing. We were welcomed like old friends of the house. Just great. Certainly amongst the best places in Veli Lošinj.

We stayed one night and loved our stay. The restaurant downstairs is also delicious!

Didn't stay in vila, we just visited the restaurant on several occasions in June 2019 (and 2018). Unlike seaside restaurants they have to cater with quality, price is also a bit lower. And no, they do not have a sea view. Their dishes were tasty (tuna tartar was just brilliant, sea bass - brancin, was properly prepared with crunchy skin), open Malvazija wine was also good. In 2019 they had dinner specials with lower prices. One of rare restaurants in Losinj where tap water is also offered with the food (and yes, tap water on Losinj island is as good as any bottled water). I do not agree with their latest design changes, but ok... food makes for it. If anything, I didn't like was their lounge music. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Delicious fresh sea fish, attractive price, real wood grill. Very friendly stuff.

Excellent restaurant
We loved the waiter (older guy with mustache and lady speaking fluent German), we loved the taste of food - properly prepared orada and pasta with beef. As mentioned on previous reviews this restaurant is not ripping you off as unfortunately we have seen and experienced on cres multiple times

Beautiful small boutique-style hotel with delicious breakfast, the omlette was great! The pool oversees the little harbour. Very friendly service!

Beautiful restaurant, and a very nice tranquil atmosphere. The waiter is lovely. Absolutely a place to visit.

The owners are very nice and the rooms are very well cleaned and the staff is nice and will try to make your stay great + most if not all speak Italian and all of them speak English very well
