Camping Trsteno

Really magical campsite. By it’s geography you can almost have a whole terrace to your self. Beautiful ancient olive trees provide great shade and grassy terraces for soft floor. Owner is super chill and very friendly. Would one hundred percent recommend this place over other local commercial and deliberately overcrowded spots.
When we came in early September the owner had even left lovely Whicker chairs at each spot and make shift tables dotted about- such a great bonus for us who’ve been without chairs our whole trip up the Adriatic!

Great for Dubrovnik visits as well, even better if you’re coming to see some Game of Thrones spots - the arboretum right next to you was used to film High Garden.

Facilities very clean with several pot washing spots, toilets and shower. I think I saw a bar at reception as well.

Can only say wish we’d stayed longer.

We loved camping Trsteno! The owner was so sweet and really tried his best. The campsite was beautiful with flowers and trees. We hope to come back sometime!

Beautiful little campsite, nice and quiet and really spacious camp spots, under the shadow of olive trees! Really cheap compared to other camp sites around, but definitely not worse, excellent value for money. Every morning at 8:30 the local bakery brings fresh bread and the owner of the camp site is a very friendly old man.
Perfect spot to enjoy Croatia if you like a little remoteness. 25 minute drive to Dubrovnik

Great stay! At Potok 3.
Absolutely stunning 3-floored house, with a grill place, multiple kitchens, garden. Great for 10 people.. the host is amazing, and the cost is very reasonable. The views of the Adriatic sea is great from the rooms too, and the Trsteno Harbour is a 5 min walk down the hill.

Beautiful camping near the city of Dubrovnik!! Lush campsites with privacy from others! Great bathrooms and showers and amazing sunset views!!

We loved the beautiful surroundings of the campsite, the olive trees were lovely and provided us with plenty of shade. The owner is a very friendly man and we enjoyed the bread that was for sale at 8.30 on the campsite.

I would also recommend going to the botanical garden next to the campsite!

Beautiful campsite! Parking under ancient olive trees. The owner was such a lovely guy and let us come in when we arrived at 22:00 - he just said park wherever you like and we will settle up tomorrow morning. He is an elderly man so be patient :)

We had the best night sleep on our whole trip. No disturbance and people had lots of space on each pitch. Facilities were good and a lovely beach is 10 minute walk away.

Would highly recommend anyone to stay here!The arbetrum is also very near the campsite which is worth checking out.

3rd time to stay there...1981, 2000 and now 2024.
It's a paradise. I could live there, in a way I envy the owner...

Visited the 4th-5th of September. The price for 1 night 2 person 1 tent and 1 car is 25.
Only tent is 20 but we managed to agree for 10 euros, just because we're young and poor students.
Bathrooms and showers are clean, there's barbecue with wood, the grass is soft and perfect for the tent.
There are also figs, apples and grape.
It is also pretty close to the beach.

Nice and quiet camp near Dubrovnik. You can arrive quiet late and pay next day. Toilets and showers was very clean.
Beach is quiet walk away.

A great camping if you like nature. Look at the flowers and the colibrie butterfly and squirrels grom underneath the olive trees.

Very nice small harbour(5 min walking distance) where you can swim and lay in the sun a day long.

Public bus to Dubrovnik every hour. Super market in next town 5 min drive.

Fresh bread every morning, the bakery stops on the camping.

The guy who runs the camping is very friendly and easy and speaks a little bit English.

When you check in at this camping, make sure you give some love and food to the black&white cat. He is so sweet and likes to cudle. His name is Binky.

Nikola the owner, a very kind person. He was always able to help and he was always with a great smile. The camping quiet, peaceful and clean.
Don't avoid going to Arboretum very, very close to the camping.
There's a bus station in front of the door so you can be at Dubrovnik old town in 25 minutos driving with a beautiful scenery.

Lovely little campsite with camping spots in the shade under the olive trees. A short walk to the beach. 15 mins drive to dubrovnik.

Beautiful camping near the Arboretum. Lots of trees giving shade and a bread truck coming every morning with freshly baked goods. The bathrooms are quite old (I remember them from 15 years ago), but functional. Overall, good value!

Very cute camp under the olive trees shade. The bathroom blocks and toilets are clean and a little old, but that is okay. The owner is an old man very Nice and very helpful! Quiet and near the beach it is probably the best in Croatia, south ans north alike

Amazing place to stay if you want a restful holiday. The little harbour is out of this world and the water is clear and lovely. Enjoy

We've been there a few years back (2016). A wonderful, cozy and calm camping. As said by others it's very green and a beach is very close (although on the way back climbing stairs is required). The owner was very friendly and helpful. For people looking for a calm spot :).

This camping spot is located beautifully between olive trees, probably also one of the cheapest camping spots on the croatian coast with a nice host. The only downside is, that it isn't close to the sea but we liked it a lot there!

If our 2 Weeks Balkan Trip tought us something, it is that serendipity always brings the best experiences. By no way did we plan to stay in the beautiful little village of Trsteno with its huge trees, the dreamy botanical garden and the picturesque little harbour. But be sure we will we will do so on our next trip - it was simply amazing. The Campside you are always looking for.
