Trsteno Plane Tree

Magical old tree just next to the road, very easy to miss if going by fast. It is very much recommended to spend a little time with it and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Wow such amazing tree. Around 500 years old. Second is nearby. Worth stopping and looking at.

Seemengly are the oldest trees in Europe, about 500 year old.

A magical seed carried by the wind of distant fields. Among many, he chose that place, Trsteno, to rest. He fiercly loved the scent and the sound that sea made, and dreamt of sailing on top of a boat one day - even a small one, he agreed with himself - as soon as he would have felt ready. "Go do something great and be someone" his father used to say.
In 400 moons or so, he managed to become a stunning plane tree. He understood he didn't have to struggle to feel satisfied, because all he needed was just there, in front of him.
You can see him there, now, still raching out to the sea, anchored to the ground by big roboust roots,
admiring.

Riesige alte Platanen. Sehr beeindruckend!

Monstrualne drzewo, nie wiedziałem że w Chorwacji można zobaczyć tak wielkie drzewa liściaste. Jest to pomnik przyrody, wspomagany przez człowieka, osiągnął takie rozmiary że musiano mu wybudować podpory i ma zamontowane pasy.

Hier könnt ihr 2 riesige Platanen sehen, die über 400 Jahre alt und die höchsten in Europa sind.

Platan wschodni pomnikowy. Obwód na wys. 1m to 12,9m, natomiast wysokość drzewa to 40,6m. Imponujący kolos.
