Service was great; super attentive waiters. They accommodated us without reservation. Food was great and scenery is amazing. Remember to reserve and some grills also should be ordered in advance.

Stopped here for lunch, our sail boat pulled right up to the dock. The food was delicious, I had the grilled shrimp & they were fresh & delicious. Also tried the boar stew, the gnocchi was made to perfection & the boar was juicy & tender. Two of the guys ordered the filets, one rare the other medium rare & bth were cooked perfectly & tender. My husband had the fried calamari & it was full of flavor & not over breaded. The view is beautiful!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely dinner here on our holiday. We were served by Slevin who was extremely helpful and lovely to speak with. The menu has many options and the plates were locked clean!! Highly recommend

A beautiful and cozy place by the port. We came twice during our stay in Mljet and we loved it. The waiters were really attentive and the food was tasty. We had the cold fish platter (twice), a fish portion, fish broth, grilled and fried calamari and black risotto. Try also home made almond cake (the owner's mum does it herself). Quite a pity we couldn't try any of the "under the bell" dishes, mind making a reservation in advance if you'd like to have them, specially the octopus and the lamb. A must go restaurant if you happen to stay in Mljet.

Great service and food, fresh catch every day made on local way! As returning customer I can highly recommend this place either for lunch or dinner!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Konoba Barba, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all expectations. From the stunning settings with breathtaking views, to the impeccable service on a rainy day, this place truly stands out.

Despite the weather, the staff at Konoba Barba welcomed us with warmth and genuine friendliness. Their attentiveness throughout our visit made us feel right at home, and we ended up spending the entire day indulging in their delectable dishes.

The fish soup was an absolute revelation! The flavors danced on my palate, making it the best fish soup I have ever had. And let's not forget the anchovies salad—it transported me to another world with its perfect blend of freshness and tanginess.

But oh, the chocolate crepe with extra chocolate! It was pure decadence on a plate, satisfying my sweet tooth in the most delightful way possible. Pairing it with their excellent selection of wines was a true match made in culinary heaven. And to our surprise, we even received a complimentary drink from the generous staff—a memory that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Every detail at Konoba Barba was carefully considered, including the freshly baked bread that tasted heavenly. The freshly squeezed orange juice and the expertly crafted coffees were a dream come true for any caffeine aficionado.

And I must mention the friendly cat that roamed the premises, adding an extra touch of charm to our visit.

This is best place to eat in a whole island. Owners are so friendly that you will feel like you are a friend not a guest. My grandparents are from the south of Croatia and this is first time that I felt same taste of food that my grandmother used to cook when I used to visit her as a child during the summer break. Barba thank you for the best tuna steak and octopus salad I have ever had. Can’t wait next summer to come again

The food was great, the ambient also and the service even better. Trebinjac waiter was so polite, and gave us all fresh food advice and also dessert was on the house. Didn't have a reservation but the staff gave us a nice table.Thanks barba from Mostarska raja.

Lovely local tavern in a beautiful location. The staff were really friendly and spoke excellent English. The menu is mainly freshly caught fish and seafood, grilled next to the tavern. We are vegan and had spaghetti milanese and chips which were delicious. Not 100% sure the spaghetti was fully vegan as we didn't ask, so it's maybe not a great option if you are a very strict vegan! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Prožurska Luka and looking to have a delicious, hearty meal in a stunning setting.

I have met the owner in Zagreb at the restaurant that I work for. We had a chat about cuisine and wines and I have enjoyed the pleasant company. Mljet is high on my bucket list and now I know the trustfully konoba Barba for the great local dalmatian cuisine and wine experience. Hopefully we meet again. Great guy with credibility.

Two of us had dinner here twice we liked it so much. Food is large portions and incredibly tasty. One grill one grill master that knows how to cook the food properly. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely reccommend.

I have been here plenty times with friends, family and every time was pure pleasure, great food, wines, place, view, everbody friendly, especially owner Hrvoje. Place is perfect getaway from everything and only important there is to enjoy and that you will get everytime you go at this place, pure enjoyment. To keep it short, please do not miss this place, true gem, not only on island Mljet, but in whole Dubrovnik. Thanks for everything and see you soon again!
