Parking Rastoke 2

Very good parking ammenities for such a small town. The parking area itself has a great view down onto the town and the waterfalls and had plenty os space available, including disabled and famiky parking places, when I visited on a weekend in March. Definitely stop here if you are travelling between Zagreb (or that general direction) to Plitvice Lakes. You will not regret it! Its a charming little town with cafes and restaurants, and the waterfalls are beautiful.

We spotted this village on the way to the Plitvice lakes but did not pay much attention at first. We decided to stop on the way back to Zagreb and OMG! the scenery is straight from a childhood fairy tale. This is one of the most charming little village with a few cottages beautifully sitting on the bank of creek and water falls. The vantage view can be enjoyed right away at the parking, just beside the main highway. It is a must stop if you visit the Plitvice national park.

This is the best place to stop to view all the main waterfalls and mill, they all cascade towards you. It costs 6 Kuna for 1 hour, coins only accepted. It is only accessible from the main road if you are driving to Split, there is no left turn if driving to Zagreb. There is a left turn just before the bridge that takes you to several parking areas. It is possible to drive over the wooden bridge at the bottom of the road to go in either direction.

Great spot to park and enjoy the beautiful town views. I recommend going in town for a quick coffee or drink.

Excellent place for a picnic with tables and garbage cans available. The views were spectacular.

Bilo slobodnih parking mjesta.

Prekrasna priroda,slapovi,setnica,od sadrzaja imaju suvenirnicu i restoran,jedini minus za restoran jel su cijene jako skupe,nema neki izbor male porcije.

Absolut Sehenswert, hier haben wir früh 7Uhr auf der Durchreise gefrühstückt, einfach traumhaft! Das rauschen von den Wasserfällen und keine Menschenseele hier und das beste, kein Eintritt. Muss man gesehen haben!
