If you wish to have gourmet food, you need to fly to Split; but if you wish to have fresh fish you see in the local lake; then, you come to the right place.

We had the gnocchi gorgonzola, mixed meat platter and a salad. The cherry strudel and coffee for dessert. Petra served us and was very friendly and kind.

We went for dinner here after a long day, based on the recommendation of our Airbnb host. It was EXCELLENT! The owner is so friendly and funny, and her son is lovely and charming. My daughter has a severe gluten reaction, and the owner discussed it with her and ultimately made her a special dish that was not on the menu. It was delicious. We were a party of 5 and all of us were pleased and happy with our meals. At the end of our dinner, the owner offered us all a glass of homemade honey digestive. Delicious! I highly recommend this bistro for an authentic and yummy Croatian meal.

We went here for dinner because it was close to our Airbnb and the host recommended it and it was FANTASTIC. My sister has severe food allergies, and the owner was so kind and made an entirely separate meal for her so that she could order the dish she wanted without worrying about getting sick. She spent lots of time talking with us and joking, and afterwords offered us a homemade digestive. Overall it was a very fun dinner, very tasty, super authentic, and right next to Plitvice. Highly highly recommend!

We ate a late lunch here after hiking for 5 hours at Plitvice. The service was quick and friendly, the prices were good, and the food was great. We all liked it so much we shared our meals with each other! We really enjoyed the Carbonara, the Chicken Risotto, the Pepper Steak, the Cucumber salad, and we shared a plate of French fries. Thanks for the great meal!!

We went out in the evening and this was the only restaurant that didnt have a huge line in front or a full parking. The prices were a bit high, but the side dish (fries) are included. The pork medallions were amazing. The pasta carbonara however, had way too much basil, which was kind of overpowering the taste of the dish. The staff was helpful, but they do not accept cards, so make sure you have either kn or euro in cash.

Wow. We loved it here. Don’t know why there are some other mediocre reviews. Have the “local meal” (like special of the day), mixed meat platter, and pork chops. Local special was delicious. Mixed meat amazing- so much food on the platter. We want to come back for lunch tomorrow before leaving Plitvice. So glad we stopped in.
