Vinarija Vukoje

It was my first time in Trebinje and of course visited Vinarija Vukoje which is one of the most famous in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Top wines, special restaurant with amazing view.
You must visit the wine gallery and taste theirs red and white wines. Cheers!

Great wines, beautifull atmosphere, view to entire city of Trebinje, friendly staff, and best possible prices for magnificent Vukoje labels. We didn't eat, but the plasure was at maximum. A bit harder to get there, up in the hill, but worth it...

Excellent food and service. The presentation and table-side preparation of the steak dish is wonderful. The steak was very tender, had a delicious balsamic dressing and was perfectly cooked. This restaurant is one of the highest points in the area with beautiful views. Note that you must walk up 3-4 flights of stairs to reach the restaurant so elderly may need assistance.

We had a really nice lunch (or probably a linner as it was 4 pm when we got our main course). The red taurant is a beautiful place with very nice and professional staff. Many thanks to Zoran from Banja Luka who saw that our little daughter was not happy and made her laugh. Great wines and really good food. The wines are not cheap for this region but they are good value compared to the wines from Western Europe. My husband, me and our 2 daughters ordered different dishes and all of them were very tasty. We liked the desserts and they were big enough to be shared by two. The one thing that we found strange that it was not possible to get a glass of tap water, we had to buy another bottle of still water. From the environmental perspective, the tap water is much better choice than the bottled water from Italy. Besides, Trebinje’s water is really nice to drink.
We will definitely eat here again next time we are in Trebinje.

Such a fabulous place! The wine is fantastic and high quality - same goes for the food!. The service was incredible overall, but Zoran was exceptional. A gem of Trebinje. A party of 3 from Germany, Norway, and the U.S., and we’d come back no matter the distance. We cannot recommend this enough!

If you are in Trebinje, you basically need to go here, enjoy wine and the beautiful view, just be warned the food is good, a bit pricey, but the wine selection is great and a must try

Unique place and atmosphere with extraordinary culinary experience. Local food and wine are at the highest level. Profesional staff, pleasant owner. What else one can wish for :)

My favorite!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vukoje! We had a beautiful spot, in the evening with the sun setting it the background. We asked to do some wine tasting and Zoran and OG talked us through the 5 wines we tried. They were recommended along side the food we chose which was also unbelievably good! We had a truffle pasta to share which was insane and the beef and the octopus were to die for! I would highly recommend visiting and you will not be disappointed. We bought 2 bottles to take home, if only we could have taken more! So glad that we were told about this place by our accommodation. Thanks team for making it so special.

I can only rate this place 5 stars. Great service and staff, good food, and truly exceptional alcohol. The wine and rakia are both world class. I left with 6 bottles, and I should've gotten more. Very impressive quality.

Family trip to Trebinje. We stop for a lunch in very nice situated restaurant. Top deck is open and views are incredible. Very nice staff speaks fluent english. Food amazing! Menu strictly for adults. Definitely come back. Had the secret info: best time to visit in hot summer is 8pm ;)

This restaurant has to have one of the best views in the whole of Trebinje. Fantastic food, brilliant local wine and even better service!

The service was great, we were served by a young man who explained the wine list.
Here you can try their wine varieties, most of them are served by the glass.
It's a pity that the construction site was nearby, the restaurant is located on a hill with a view of the Trebinje settlements.

We had two great nights here with fantastic wine and impeccable service! The atmosphere is wonderful and we already look forward to coming back at a later time! Special thanks to Zoran for his professional and friendly service.

Very nice atmosphere with good choice of wines to taste and buy. Staff is very helpful and kind. The offer of tapas is very well designed to fit the wine tasting and combined with a beautiful view of Trebinje makes this place one of the best places to visit in this area.

We found out about this place by coincidince. Very unexpected place in Trebinje. This place produces its own wines. You can see the vineyards from the terrace!

As for the food: A M A Z I N G!! It was so so so delicious!
Service: 9/10 - The waiters did everything to provide us what we wanted. We had no reservation, they moved and switched tables to create a spot! I really wanted to have watermelon as desert, which was not on the menu. Z and OGI found it for us and offered it free of charge!
They were smiley, kind and very professional! Thank you so much!

For information: people who cannot climb or parents with buggy’s. There is no elevator (yet). To reach the rooftop you will have to walk the stairs. If this is difficult, please keep in mind. Oh and make a reservation :-)

Price: very ok, price-quality wise!

Beautiful place, very good service and wines. Good food, could be better but still is for 5/5. Local cheese platter is superb. I would definitely recommend and visit again!
