A gem of a town - highly recommend as a daytrip location. Great swimming spots and walking trails and eateries for a young family of 5. Will be returning next time we're on Brač

Fantastic city to visit, amazing street and houses built of stone. Calm and quiet atmosphere.

Beautiful town, lovely people. Loads of cafes and lots of stall selling Brac stone and it so beautiful. Great prices. Only had 2 hours here but could stay forever. We will be back.

Worth to see. Complete town build out of the white stone collected nearby. Many small restaurants. Clean water. Clean beach places.

Very interesting town great heritage in stone sculpting, shipped also to the USA White House. A visit to the Sculpting, Masonry School a must.

My favourite town/village on Brac. Great for swimming, eating, playing and just a lovely place to wonder. Free parking also just on the edge of town, 2 mins walk away

I've visited some towns around the city of Split, all of them were mentioned as "the most beautiful town of Dalmatia" in one guide or another.
But this town might actually be it! It's a beautiful serene town in the middle of the mountains surrounding a little harbour on the Island Brac.
There aren't actually that many tourist even though I visited during the summer holidays.
Parking space is very limited though and you'll probably need to use the (rather expensive) ferry to get from Split to the island.

What an amazing village. A hidden jewel. A beautiful harbour and the buildings are so beautiful. Not a lot to do there, but worth a visit, just for the beauty.

Very quiet.
At this time of the year, end of Sept.
A number of private yachts come in to anchor up and a few cycle and cruise boats too. There are very few shops to buy any ‘Tourists themed stuff’ nice change. There is a Stonemasons school here a few restaurants. A huge quarry, yet you hear nothing from it.
So if slow paced kinda place you want this is it.

Nice little place with a typical Dalmatian look and spirit. It is worth visiting and sightseeing.The best thing are the stone houses of the famous Brač stone.
