What a spot! Booked a mooring too the way before and berthed very easily stern to off a mooring buoy. Their specialty is fish - with 4 types of fresh fish available. They are large so will easily feed 2 people per fish. Can highly recommend the fishermans platter - as per the photo - which is a very good serving for two people if you want a light meal. We were looking forward to meat through and their Surf and Turf was very nice - perfectly cooked meat. Paired it with a plate of prawns cooked on the open grill. Add some wine and a sunset with a fantastic view and it doesn’t get any better! Not cheap but you are dining in a very special spot…

Fantastic restaurant, nice frange of fresh fish. Very close to the mooring bouys so you can swim over! Open for lunch and dinner. They take cards as well as cash.

Amazing restaurant where you can taste the traditional peka (cooked under the bell) and fresh raw fish. We started with a shared huge plate of raw fish that was really taste and fresh. The main was octopus peka that was a masterpiece, really delicious. I have never tasted before a so soft and tastefull octopus. The service was professional. The restaurant is located in a bay where you can Moore easily for the night .

We arrived and said we wanted starters and main course. I didn't have to choose. Everything was absolutely amazing. Can't recommend this place enough.
The best serving was the tuna sashimi, shrimps and ceviche.

We were more than happy after reading all of negative recommendations. Food came immediately, everybody was nice, food fresh well done no troubles 🤷‍♀ Maybe they do have good and bad days…

We booked a meal and overnight mooring but were delayed picking up our boat, however the owners couldn't have been more helpful and amazingly quick replying by WhatsApp. So we ordered remotely. We finally arrived at 20:15, the Marinero sorted out a mooring very quickly and we decided to have the meal on our yacht. It arrived just as we laid the table, totally delicious, my wife reckoned it was the best cooked, tastiest steak she'd ever had. Our seafood was fab. I totally recommend it, just a little sad we never got chance to meet the owners as we had to leave early.

When jou think, this is the end of the bay for your sailyacht. Just go a bit further and find the mooring guys from Sismis restaurant, beeing helpful with the mooring lines and very polite. From dinghi parking mole you climb the stairway to heaven, where a very professional and utmost friendly crew of #sismisrestaurant making you feel welcome and cosy.
Food is made with lots of care and taste. The grilled tuna steak was excellently well prepared with keeping all lovely taste and texture Inside. Treat of the house is lovely and amazing tuna starter. Local white wines from Dalmatian vineyards are the icing on the top.
The menu choice is well balanced for meat, fish, vegetarian and these various dishes are all real eye catchers.
Sišmis could easily manage our large sailing group with smiles on their faces and an admirable assertiveness.
Honestly, reviews are sometimes written for convenience and courtesy. This one is meant to give to Cesar what belongs to Cesar.

You can find a great shelter for sailboats in Šešula bay, 10 minutes walk to center of Maslinica.

The reviews for this place are either very good, or very bad. That is caused by the expectations people have of the moorings. This is not a cute little cove with a few buoys and a little restaurant making a living from the boats. This is a large restaurant serving over 200 people per evening, which uses the cove as a free parking for their customers.
Restaurant is excellent. Dishes are varied, well prepared and nicely presented. 8 hard-working waiters serve 200 people divided into 2 shifts starting at 18.00 or 21.30h. Portions are large, their signature octopus peka for 4 serves 5 or 6. Prices are in line with the quality and location, expect 50 euro or more per person including a few drinks, but the mooring fee is deducted from your bill at the end.
Mooring experience depends on how far towards the end of the cove you are. The further from the restaurant, the quieter. Half the boats get a buoy at the bow and a line to the shore at the stern. The marinero is very helpful and pulls your lines through the loops and pushes you in place. Then each moored boat gets a second boat attached to it on the side. At night you can hear the diesel generator if you are close to the restaurant, or noise from other boats if you are unlucky, because there is no enforcement here.
Overall we had a great experience because we were lucky and got a place near the end of the cove.

We reserved late and got a great table at 9:30pm. The atmosphere was very charming, the waitress we had was great and helped us choose excellent dishes. Wonderful experience for our group of 8.

Nice food and view, easy mooring a yacht.

We’ve had great experience at this restaurant, tried out variety of menu items, from veal, prawns, swordfish to cold starters. The food is pricey, but overall great experience! Especially compared to similar Konobas such as these on other islands. Also the desserts were delicious! Shout out to our waiter Filip, who contributed to this great experience!

Stopped for a group lunch - was pleasantly surprised by the meal. Shadow fish was some of the best I’ve had, great sides and view of the bay.
