I’ve been there with my family, you can find really comfy and welcoming person. Food were all preparared from them, fully bio. Everything was amazing and tasty. This was an experience between homemade food and how local people used to eat. Peka cooking (under the bell) was something special, all the meat was melting on our mouth. Everything was tasty and genuinely fresh. I really recommend it if you’re going to Dubrovnik or near by.

Very kind and welcoming staff. We ordered the octopus under the bell and it was just delicious! Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the homemade dessert. Just remember to book the day before, as the "under the bell" preparation requires three hours and they buy fresh ingredients every day. Remember to go there hungry! You will be also offered a taste of their homemade flavoured grappas.
Izletiste Koracevo is less expensive than other similar restaurants in the area. The place is very nice, with a view on the hills and there are playgrounds for kids. Definetely recommended!

Are six stars possible? We had a memorable evening that was very special for our family. The lamb and veal were perfectly cooked, the ‘under the bell’ cooking method was amazing. Dessert was homemade strudel that was to die for - fantastic hospitality, this is a must-do experience in the Dubrovnik area.

Excellent location, food and service. Surrounded by nature one can enjoy the finest in traditional food in peace. It was a pleasure being a guest here. Would highly recommend and come back next chance I get!

One of the best meals that we have eaten in Croatia! Home made liquor and wine, domestic cheese and ham, brilliant BBQ and home made Apfel strudel.

Visited Koracevo with two friends on a recent trip to Orasac. The location is stunning, located in the range of hills around the area and the lovely couple who own the place are super friendly, let us try different Grappa before we sat down and even let us nip into the kitchen to see how all the food was cooked. Food and drink is phenomenal and all homemade by them on site! We ordered the lamb and veal dish and it was plenty of food for three of us, best meal we ate all trip. Couldn’t recommend enough but make sure you pre-order your food as it takes 2+ hrs to make and bring cash!

A warm and welcoming place, a must in the Dubrovnik area!

We were welcomed with a homemade grappa and some sweet, light starters (dried orange, fresh figs and almonds). Moving on to a stunning mountain terrace (if you’re lucky enough, you’ll spot the city of Dubrovnik in the background) we started our meal with local pršut and a selection of cheeses, local wine followed with a mouthwatering plate of veal and lamb baked for hours with potatoes in an oven in a traditional way (one has to see it for themselves!). Finally, when we thought our meal was coming to its end, we received a dessert of figs and apfelstrudel with walnuts.

The meal was an experience and we are already planning our return.

Practical tip: you have to contact the owners ahead of your arrival and book your spot, as the meal will be prepared fresh especially for you walk-ins may not be successful.

Super host, where it is simply fun to be a guest. We always felt welcome and Sveto could offer us everything we wanted. I am very satisfied. The food was absolutely amazing, we had traditional Peka, which was just insanely delicious.
This place has also a soccer area, damn cool!

Koraćevo truly surpassed all the positive reviews. The location amidst the mountains, the charming country setting, the gracious hosts, and the incredibly delicious food all contributed to an outstanding experience. The homegrown ingredients also added a unique touch to the flavors. My husband and I tried the veal cooked under the bell and it was fantastic. The hosts took the time to explain cooking methods and cultural aspects regarding the food. I highly recommend this exceptional experience to anyone visiting the Dubrovnik area. Make note that the reservation needs to be made the day before due to the time needed for the under the bell cooking technique.

This is a must visit! The couple who own it are so nice. Food is incredible!! Views are amazing. Grappa and figs when we arrived, delicious ham and cheese to start, octopus under the bell (gorgeous!) and beautiful apple strudel for dessert. I couldn't recommend it high enough. You must book at least the day before as it take ls 2 hours to cook. Well worth a visit.

What a fantastic place, up in the hills away from the heat and frenzy on the beaches and in the town, beautiful views. And the food it simply out of this world, cooked under the bell, meat has never been so soft, and the flavour s just keep you eating. Also a great place for kids, football court, volleyball court and outdoor bowls. Highly recommended, be sure to call and order you dinner in advance, as cooking time is 2-3 hours.

In case you want an authentic croatian experience of good food, hospitable hosts and scenic hillside views we suggest you visit this place. We were lucky to find our way here and thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

Forget about Tuscany or Provence. In the vicinity of Dubrovnik, there is the famous excursion site of Koraćevo. Koraćevo is a beautiful place located above the town of Orašac near the city of Dubrovnik. It is known for its stunning scenery, entertainment for children and excellent food prepared under the bell and various roasts.
There is an excellent restaurant on Koraćevo where visitors can taste excellent dishes of veal, goat, lamb, octopus, prepared according to traditional recipes, and Cvijeto and Daniela are wonderful people who will delight you with their hospitality and will do their best to give you an unforgettable experience while you enjoy in their specialties.

All in all, Koraćevo is a beautiful and diverse destination that offers something for everyone. Whether you want to relax in a restaurant with excellent food, play bocce, football, volleyball or badminton, paintball or explore the historic upper villages of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik coast by quad or buggy or taste local olive oils, wines and cuisine, Koračevo has it all, so it's worth checking them out before you book, since cooking time is 2-3 h. Absolutely the best veal shank under the bell ( Cvijeto’s No.1 speciality) we had ever. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing dinner and experience at this place. The place is itself wonderful, located in the mountains a bit hidden, among olive trees and pines. We had an amazing view! The service was excellent from the start with a warm welcome with a glass of home made grappa. The dishes were delicious and portions were generous! We definitely recommend this place for the food the landscape and the amazing hosts!!!

Great food served in beautiful surroundings, great place run by the most friendly couple. As welcome aperitif we got really great homemade grappa, where we could choose between different flavours, and snacks (homemade dried figs etc). As starter we got a plate with different kinds of ham and cheese (one of the cheeses was made that same morning). As main course we got veil and lamb prepared in a croatian method called ‘peka’. For dessert we had a delicious homemade apfelstrudel made the same day. We really recommend this place. Everything they serve is homemade and made from local ingredients (the olive oil was made from the olivetrees growing just a few meters from our table) and it all tasted delicious. And you will not leave the place hungry, all courses are generously filled.

A fabulous hidden gem. Home produced food and drink. Main dishes roasted slowly “under the bell” in the traditional way so needs booking in advance. Very warm welcome and great surroundings. Best meal of our holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommended!
