The fortress is interesting to visit because it 's very well preserved and renewed, with great view. The entrance ticket is included if you visit city walls, in march it's 10€ for adults. Inside it 's empty, there is a square with stairway to terraces. Around the fortress there is water canal. Visit lasts about 15 minutes and I would recommend to visit it after the city walls. There is a big parking lot accross the road. The only minus for me was that there are no explanations or flyers about history of the fortress or other historical facts.

Great landmark and well worth a visit. You do need to be quite fit and active as there are a lot of steps up to fantastic vantage points. Steeped in history and we'll maintained. Food in one of the restaurants was okay, not raving about is as service was slow and food was okay.

Fun little town that's within an hour from Dubrovnik. Definitely worth the trip. You can tour the salt fields and purchase salt from them. You can take either a 20-40-or 80 min hike on the walls surrounding Ston. There is a small playground for children. Overall, a great place to visit that's not very tourist-heavy.

Great looking fort at Ston which has been almost totally rebuilt over a number of years. Still only seen it from the outside but looks well worth a visit. Stone is an amazing old town with incredible fortifications running along the mountainside to Mali Ston. The church adjacent to the fort is also well worth a visit!

The tickets also include the wall. Great view. Castle also has a toalette.

Here is a view of the fort from the wall.

Great little fort in Ston. Recently reopened and still being restored. Gives you a sense of what the fort may have looked like when originally built, or at least what it looked like in it's last rendition before it went to ruin. Not a place if you are looking for an old, ruins feeling. Very pristine rock work particularly on the exterior. Surrounded by a delightful little town.

its impressive to see how much work has been imputed on reconstruction and restoration of city walls, cant wait for them to be fully operational in few years

After walking around the walls this is culmination of everything. Functionally looking well preserved fortress that will leave you speachless.
