THE City Lodge - Boutique Apartments

Fab location and cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at. Cute and charming. Loved the windows that I could open out to the street (most nights were quiet except for maybe an hour on International Woman’s Day when there was a peaceful march down the street below). The kitchenette was great with some basic utensils/appliances and a little grocery a few shops down (so whether you forgot your toothbrush or want something to cook, you’ll be set). Bathroom was in great working order with a little basket of packets of shampoo and body wash if you forgot any, as well as a hair dryer.

Felt really secure as you enter a code from the door on the street (make sure you really pull it shut) and then another code to the lobby-like main space before scanning your key to your room. It is up two flights of stairs and I didn’t see an elevator so be aware if stairs or accessibility are a dealbreaker. When you enter from the street (the brown door in the pics, next door to the Diesel store), the foyer is supposed to have a motion-triggered light but it didn’t always work so may be a tad dark but the stairwell itself is well lit.

Great proximity to cafes, bakeries, restaurants, shopping, flower stands, bookshops, the funicular to Upper Town, the tram system, taxi stand across the street, and anything else you might want on your visit to Zagreb. Would definitely recommend for first time visitors to the city too, especially because they were really responsive on WhatsApp too.

Great newly refurbished appartment in the centre of Zagreb. The room had a large and comfortable bed as well as a big shower with shower gel and shampoo samples. The room also had Air Conditioning which by 35 degrees was mandatory. Our flight was in the evening but we were able to leave our luggage in the lobby area. I absolutely recommend this place.

I had a very pleasant stay at the City Lodge. Seamless experience. Contactless check in and check out. Great communication.
The studio was roomy, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The location is central and counts an endless choice of bars and restaurants.
I highly recommend this place as an alternative to hotels.
The only improvement I would suggest is to instalI a coffee machine in the common area :-)

Perfect small apartment to stay in the city center. It is about 4 minute walk from the cental square so it is not too noisy but not too far from the center at the same time.
Really appreciate the fact that it has a desk in every apartment where someone can work on his computer. The TV comes with Netflix account already setup as well.

Great modern apartment in the very center of Zagreb. Very nice and helpful host. I loved the design and it looked exactly like on photos. Magnolia was blooming in the inner yard.
