Excursion boat "Veli" Bol

We found Milan quite by accident, we just stopped by him on the street and even though our intention was to rent something shiny and fancy , we decided to go on his excursion anyway. And we were super happy. Milan is so funny and caring that you forget whether you are on the shiny side or not. Super hospitable and with unique qualities, he cooks amazingly ,with very good skills on the boat. All in all, an amazing excursion and I recommend it wholeheartedly! Greetings from Bulgaria 💜

Weather stopped play yesterday but Milan adjusted today with a 2pm to sunset tour. Great afternoon out on his boat, swimming, jumping in and being fed a 3 course meal all cooked on the boat. Grilled fish..amazing. this is a truly fun rustic local tour by a local guy who is very able, knowledgeable and fun. If you are a traveller at heart and enjoy local interaction...this is for you. None of that racing off to expensive Blue cave stuff, just great local experience. Enjoy

We stumbled upon Milan by accident, as we were admiring his boat. Such a lovely and funny guy, and the next day we went with him and a few others for a half day trip to beautiful Stari Grad on the island Hvar. On the way back we anchored at a secret bay for a swim and some delicious pancakes prepared by Milan on the boat. An absolutely perfect day, 1000% recommend his services.

One of the best excursion I ever experienced. I was welcomed as among friends, with several dives in a beautiful sea, food (fresh fish and delicious pancakes), wine and laughter. A very special and unforgettable day.

From my stay in Bol I have to say that this is one of the best things I have done, the tour is really good, the landscapes are beautiful, the attention is very good and the food too, they serve amazing pancakes, then a delicious fish, im also trying to be vegan but i couldn't resist to try it and it was the best decision haha. I really enjoyed the places where we went to swim(the colour of the water is just crazy) and u can take some nice pictures because the places are beautiful. recommended for any person, family and / or group of friends who want to have a good time.

What can I say … incredible experience with only a few lovely guests on the boat. It is more of a family vibe with the history and stories about the island and Croatia. Easily the best trip I've ever been on. Never have I seen so many beautiful bays and beaches with crystal clear sea that are seemingly yet to be discovered in one day on both Brač and Hvar. Not to mention our captain Milan who is an extremely funny, kind and friendly person who also made us a beautiful fish&meat barbeque for lunch and was a pleasure to sail with. All in all, once in a lifetime experience with recommedations to everyone who visits Bol.

This was absolutely the most gorgeous excursion I have ever been on. I have never seen clearer seas. The ship is very cozy and comfortable with a homely feel to it (and it has a slide). The fish, prepared by the extremely friendly and funny captain Milan, is delicious. The crew is obviuosly experienced and I felt really safe. Their knowledge of the bays is also extraordinary. This was such a wonderful experience I didn't want it to end. I will surely be coming back.

I went on the same trip, with kids this time. Both make for a very different experience, but I can still say there wasn't a creature on that boat, that didn't enjoy the trip. And I think the dog would agree.

This trip should be called Magical bays of Hvar. Seriously, I've been going to Bol my whole life and this is one of the best trips I've made. Overwhelming nature and on top of that a brilliant host Milan, who will make sure, that everyone on board is well taken care of. You will get pancakes for breakfast, fresh made fish with homemade Olive oil and Wine for lunch, and in between you'll enjoy the serenity and the sun and the crystal turquoise sea.
An absolute must do if you're in the area!

Captain Milan was the perfect skipper and host. A chilled and laid back trip - spending lots of time at coves. Delicious food provided. A fab day out!

It was quite an exciting experience. Before heading out for a swim, we had a stop over at Stari Grad.. Beautiful place to visit too. And then we went for a dip in a beautiful bay on the island of Hvar. The colors are magical. To top everything up, while we were swimming, the captain (Milan) prepared some pancakes and it was quite a wonderful time.

We can certainly echo all the excellent comments made in the previous reviews. The day was brilliantly managed, the food was excellent and generous and the bays we visited were quiet, clean and a wonderful example of the best Croatia has to offer. Strongly recommended!

A wonderful excursion to a hidden bay with the most magical colours of sea I have ever seen. Before and after we have enjoyed a unique perspective of Brac and Hvar island from the sea. The captain also makes amazing pancakes and is happy to share interesting tidbits about local and natural history and geography.

The most amazing day , Milan the owner of the boat was lovely and charismatic , we went to beautiful coves swam and snorkelled for hours , it was such a relaxing and wonderful time, this is perfect for you if you don’t want to do sight seeing in tourist trap towns it is all about natural beauty and water , would recommend to anyone that visits Bol! 10/10 trip will definitely go again when I visit the island next time.

I recently had the privilege of experiencing the most incredible tour in Bol, on the stunning Island of Brac. Our adventure took place aboard the Veli with the exceptional guide/captain Milan at the helm. This tour was an absolute five-star experience, and here's why:

If you're looking for an extra-ordinary experience, then you should go with Milan. We had the sunset excursion and it was amazing, best day we had in Bol. Milan is a great captain, he is funny and so welcoming, it is impossible to get bored with him! We went to an hidden bay in Hvar in which we did some snorkeling. He then cooked for us some fish but, as I am vegetarian, he made me grilled veggies, it was very nice of him. He then made pancakes with homemade fig jam. Everything was delicious! So be ready to eat all sort of foods :) On the way back we saw one of the best sunsets of our life. We definitely recommend it to everyone coming to Bol! Thanks Milan for this amazing day we had :)

The best day we’ve spent in Croatia so far, we didn’t want it to end. Highly, highly recommend this to anyone visiting Brač. Milan was super fun and knowledgeable, and cooked us a delicious 3-course lunch, all while sjngle-handedly captaining the boat. If you go to Brač you *have* to do this.

5 stars expirience for sure. Beautiful bays for swimming and jumping of the boat, great domestic food and most importantly young and communicative Captain who speaks fluid English. We hanged out with some locals and tried best home made wine and rakija you can find. Looking forward to our next trip with Captain Milan.

Amazing beaches, clear water where You can jump from the boat, swim, dive... We also had a lunch with a fresh mackerel ( fished and grilled infront of us) - I have to say that I have never tried more delicious mackerel and a red wine. We also had a caffee, pancakes and watermelon ... njamy!!! Thanks to Milan the best captain and to Gaspar for the service. ❤
