Normafa Park

Stunning views of the city to be found. Plenty of cafes and bars along route. Clearly marked trails. Multiple play parks and toilet facilities. A brilliantly kept park which is easily accessible from central Budapest by bus.

A forest paradise just one bus ride away from the centre of the city. What more to ask for. The views on Budapest are breathtaking, and the walks on the many tranquil paths extremely relaxing. In summer I find it much less busy than during spring and autumn, so it is rather peaceful (and cool, with all the trees). Can't see why not to come in all the seasons.

A beautiful Park. I just walked part, but it is really big. Trees, grass, play ground, bathroom, places to eat or for do your own grill. Inside the park it is not allowed cars or public transportation, but I fined out a golf cart for go to Elizabeth Tower 🗼 just beautiful.

Definitely worth visiting. Fresh air, spacious, calm place with barbecue possibilities and car parking. Easy to get there with a bus too. A little bit far from the center, but this is the key 🫰🏼

A beautiful budapest sightseen from normafa! You could do picnic, barbeque or just chill with your family and friends. They have some food corner but prepare cash money cos when I went there they didn’t accept card, cash only!

Very nice place for picknic and outdoor activity. This time they had good parking with enough area and lots, though understandably not free during weekend. Overall my experience was good. I would still recommend to put clear direction signs for entrance parkings.

They have snow at the play ground.
And we saw a lost kitty cat.

The improvements they have made to the park are quite noticeable. The only negative is paying for parking on weekends.

The more modern food stalls offer more food choices including pizza, palacsinta, rétes, and lángos. You can also find a selection of adult beverages as well.

This is truly one of my favorite places to visit to escape the city for a few hours.
