It's a Museum of History of Hungary. The place is quite informative and there are many things such as swords and items of the Turkish Regime.

One of the best victory of Ottomon empire..defeating Hungarian forces. Louis flees battle at twilight but gets drowned in the river Danube due to weight of his armour..1526 CE..battle took place..Hungary was the best army to take over Europe and Sulieman actually saved Europe from ambitious enemy. Next was Belgrade..interestingly there was no town in between the two places. Small place of great importance..

Well designed and impressive outdoor-indoor memorial of the Battle of Mohács (1526). Walking here you can sense the history and the meaning of this national tragedy of Hungary. You can watch an interesting animation movie about the battle - there is even a different movie for small children.

Beautiful in a sad and tragic way. A true eye opener to long forgotten suffering. The small museum has exhibit descriptions as well as audio-visual material in English. The staff on duty was extremely helpful.

Very nice place! It's a Must see if you are a Middle Age fan, good indoor museum but quite small.

Suleiman the Magnificent and the Battle of Mohac (1526) - The battlefield, beside the village of Sátorhely, became an official national historical memorial site in 1976 on the 450th anniversary of the battle so this is great historical memorial place to visit.

Good to visit and give a few memories to the glorious defenders of eastern Europe against medieval Turkish greed.

It was a very cool place, very misterious and historical. The man, who showed us the place talks very very beautiful, sweet and articulated.
