Krapaj Csárda

I have been living on and off in Hungary since 1988 - thus at the time of writing this, for 35 years already. I believe that it was also the year when I first visited Krapaj Csarda and I have been a regular guest ever since. If my job takes me to live somewhere else temporarily and I come back to Hungary, I'll come to Krapaj to eat something within a few days of my arrival.

Of all the restaurants that I regularly go to, Krapaj is by far my favorite, simply said: they have yet to disappoint me after three decades of being a regular guest. Over the years, I've seen lots of various people working here, but the outstanding quality of the foods always remained to be the same. I don't know how they do this, but it's true. Various other, much better known restaurants in Budapest with infinitely more guests, "prestige" and MUCH higher prices aren't even close to the culinary level of the very moderately priced, simple, but HUGE & delicious dishes one can get at Krapaj. If you want to taste Hungary, outside of getting invited to someone's family dinner, Krapaj is the best place to go to. Congratulations, please keep up the good work for at least another 35 years. :)

Nice and cozy place on the outskirts of Budapest, friendly staff, great food. The onion soup was really good

Good service, good food with wide and solid selection. Kitchen was fast. Go on a sunny day and sit outside. Call in and reserve on a rainy day. Ample parking.

Delicious food

Először talán 45- 50 éve jártam a Krapaj csárdában, akkor nagyon felkapott hely volt. Nem tudom most mennyire népszerű, csak kíváncsi voltam milyen ma. Egy szóval: remek. Örülök, hogy itt ehettem, köszönöm.

Kivülről nagyon szép nádtetővel borított épület, belül egy nemes egyszerűséggel berendezett csárda. Nincs túllihegve a berendezés, kellemes hangulata van. A felszolgálás példás, udvarias, kedves és gyors. Külön figyelmet érdemelt, hogy nem hagyták pihenni az asztalon a már nem szükséges dolgokat. Az őzragu levesüket már csak a tökéletesen elkészített bélszín überelte, de a somlói is hibátlan volt. Egyáltalán nem elszálltak az árak, nagyon pozitív elmény volt itt ebédelni. Gratulálok a tulajnak, a személyzetnek, szakácsoknak! Köszönöm a vendéglátás, jó szívvel ajánlom a helyet mindenkinek.

Finom ételek, kedves kiszolgálás.
Szívesen térünk vissza.

A leves és a főételek is nagyon ízletesek voltak. A libamájat külön kiemelném. A kiszolgálás udvarias és gyors. Árban is teljesen elfogadható az étlap. Összeségében egy jó étterem.
