Gotthard Therme Hotel & Conference

This place a typical underestimated country side hotel: you get high quality for pennies. The wellness part brought to a mid level experience, the rooms clean ( and probably ten years old design) and the cherry on the top: the restaurant awesome!!! All food hungarian tasty from the better side, service staff always smiling and you get no reason to complain and dont forget this hotel in the east side of the border so the price is really friendly; )

Together with a friendly couple plus child we stayed here for 5 nights, enjoying the thermal bath and the hotel amenities including half-board. We stayed in two 2-room family apartments, in fact 2 rooms with connecting door each, which was perfect for us having small children with us to put them to sleep in the other room. The food is simple but very good and different each day. All treatments are inexpensive but well done, the thermal bath and the hotel are great for families, offering an indoor and outdoor playground, a gaming area and everything you are expecting when traveling with your little ones.

Very impressed by the hotel, very clean and good location. The buffet was well balance and the refill of the food was pretty fast.
Massage was great and affordable, sauna area was clean and not crowded with a good variety of choices.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

I had very good experience. My son enjoyed the swimming pool. I liked the spa. And there is very nice staff who is CAVIN. He is really nice and kind. I recommend for family.

We prefer apartments, but we've really enjoyed to stay here for a few day and I'm sure we will book in this hotel again. Staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, they serve savoury and varied dishes. Wellness is also all right, it provides what you expect.
Hotel is pet-friendly, our minidoxie enjoyed to play in the huge garden. They think serious and also serve food for dogs. :)
We had a problem with the lock on the door and staff took care of this, solved it in 10 minutes without any inconvenience.

Room, food, staff, everything was excellent. Using a chip-watch to enter and exit the wellness section and to pay is a fantastic idea, really makes life easier. The pools are great, slides are fun, basically every staff-member was considerate, smiling and kind. The late check-out option is worth its price. Absolutely superb place.

Went for longer weekend with my family and my little nephew. Our first trip to Hungary and could not be more impressed. I work for 5 star hotel myself and have always high expectations. Hotel was well equiped, restaurant had on daily basis great selection of dishes to choose from, every day different. Pools were nice and clean (hygienic), good temperature of pools. Suitable for famillies with children. Already planning another trip in there. 5 star rating from me.

The personnel is well trained, helpful and friendly. It is a great place for families with small kids. A lot of tall chairs, wc seats for kids, playground (indoor and outdoor), pools ... Everything is new and well maintained. The food is great. A lot of parking places available.

Gorgeous option for the town. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and spacious, and the spa is awesome. Especially liked the sauna section! The restaurant is good too, just enough variety for the hungry man.
