Very nice place to camp. Price is fair as the place is quite well maintained.
There is so much places to camp and it is never crowded. Both sides of the island are really beautiful. During the summer you swim and have beach activities. Definitely a recommendation for couples, groups and families!

Amazing place, full of nature and the views are terrific. Duna is so clean and the natural pebble beaches. You can see trees all around and visegrad castle on the hills. Also people can go here with there dogs.

Not far from Budapest you can find a place where a little (half)island ends. You can reach it from Kisoroszi. You need to walk a bit after the parking spot, and there you can see how the danube cuddle the hills around. On the left side the Visegrad castle looking down to us and ahead we can notice the hourly crossing little ferry. Here you can hear the waves, the light breeze and the birsd. Highly recommend, especially at sunset, but at winter is also enjoyable.

What a sight for sore eyes,to heck with paying for a hotel in Budapest when this enormous 35km sandbar will give you the best nights rest imaginable,tucked under the trees among the nature is better than any overpriced hotel .

Beautiful place, best view and great time for kids swimming and playing in the Danube River. Great spot for camping.

It's the perfect place for walks, camping, and if the weather permits, swimming too.
It was not too crowded at all.
There's a daily entrance fee to the parking lot.

The scenery is beautiful. It’s been getting crowded lately but plenty of place is also available after walking a bit further down from the top.

Brilliant place for a walk, dog friendly. Designated camp fire locations. There are benches around within the area to take a rest.

Lovely little walk next to the river. It looks great all year round whether you want to experience it in the fog or sun, spring or winter. Definitely a place to go to in Hungary. Also, its not very crowded most of the year except maybe summer where you may see a lot of camper vans, but even then, nothing like the crowds in Croatian coasts or Swiss mountains.

Definitely a must in the area. It is a great experience to just stand in the flowing Danube on little pebble pads in the middle of the river and rhe gate of the Danube bend. Go there and have a nice dip and embrace the view.

A unique piece of nature, you can reach it by bike or hike, also from the water by kayak or canoe. Depends on the season there can be a lot of people, and the water’s height and cleanness, too. You can camp here with tent, the prices are really moderate. However, it isn’t for everyone; you can feel yourself really close to nature, and you might have to walk for your drinking water. I love this place.

Only selected people are there. Who takes the time and effort to get there? This place can't be civilized and still is it's original state I think so because Danube river often flows in the woods.

43 km from Budapest. Awesome. Romantic peninsula in the Danube with castle above and shells on the sandy shore.
