Lovely place, real Hungarian food
Must visit!

An interesting csarda on the way to Romania. Large outdoor seating, pleasant staff and a large selection of Hungarian specialties. The soup was famous - homemade, the goulash was fantastic and the duck was a very large portion. We were done within 1 hour.

Amazing food. The best goulash soup I have ever had in Hungary! Big portions, friendly staff, professional service. Would definitely come back every time we head to Budapest!

This place you must visit if you are passing by. Traditional Hungarian restaurant, with really great service and even better food. The whole ambience and surrounding is beautiful.

We stopped in this restaurant accidentally for lunch on our way to Balkans. We were amazed with the food they serve!
I have eaten in many places in Hungary before, and I can easilly say that this place was definately the best of them all!
Food very tasty and fresh. Beef was so well-cooked that it was very soft and delicious. Potrions are extremely big; you can easilly share one portion for 2 persons! I am a kind of guy who likes to eat a lot, so I ordered a soup + main dish. Although it was really delicious I was not able to eat it due to its size :). Prices very competitive. i spent the same money on the Balaton shore before, and I was leaving restaurant hungry. This time I was overeaten :) Service was very professional. It is a pitty that I can give only 5 stars, as I would give much more if I could! :) Keep up the same high standards guys!

Still probably the best Csàrda in Hungary. I have been coming here for over 20 years. Service is professional yet the prices are reasonable.

Skilled,dynamic staff,familiar tastes and general feeling,family friendlyness, exceptionally tasty and big typical hungarian dishes at decent prices.
Table reservation is recommended, but not a must.

Photos are of the tanya museum next door to the csarda. The csarda had excellent quality food. It was very busy when we had lunch but was worth the wait

October 2106...this was a day excursion from A-Rosa River Cruises...great value for the money...we were the only tour at the time...private viewing of the grounds...horse show...traditional hungarian lunch with musicians...
