Totally unique atmosphere showing an older way of life, very tasty food, menu available in English, Hungarian and German. We had quick service, the host was great. No vegan options so drops one star for food but some vegetarian options if you order a starter as a main and order sides too. Meat dishes were delicious. Quite pricey though, average main is about 6000 forint, which is about £15. Traditional drinks. Slogan says 'a place that feeds your soul as well as your stomach'. Easy to miss from the street but worth checking out!

Pure excellence, arguably the only place that i genuinely enjoy in Tihanyi. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. I highly recommend the "Trout caught from a speedy creek" and the duck thigh. The service was professional and friendly. Overally the place feels really cozy and authentic.
However the highlight here in my opinion must be the accompanied music played by an insanely talented band! The band master can play one hell of a fiddle.

Good "tourist place", you always have one everywhere. Working smooth as a machine, they are used to lots of guests. Looks as an old farm. Staff well trained, professional, good food.

Very rural restaurant. Very beautiful with its interior and decoration. Food is ok, for my taste too much oil and fat, the self brewn lavender beer a bit too strong in taste and the interior in general a bit dirty. Nevertheless it’s a special experience with its great atmosphere.

Excellent, out of the way location to enjoy a multi course lunch. You will not leave hungry. (Ha ha, get it? 😊)

Decor is amazing! Be sure to walk inside and see the old fireplace.

The place is very beautiful, the service was really good, the food was 4 out of 5, but the whole ambience is worthed, there were musicians with traditional music as well.

Second time here and can't get enough. Amazing, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. A must if you are in Tihany. Also, try their Muscato wine - it's divine!

Great food at a good price, served in a tranquil garden courtyard filled with flowers, decorated with old time tools and memorabilia. The staff were very kind and thoughtful. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again

Probably the best food in town. Clean bathrooms, clean place, friendly staff. I recommend this place for everyone.
