Kisfaludy Strand

This whole place is really decent. A lovely place to spend a nice time. There are so many flats around for short stay and if you’d like to make your own food. Nice vacation place.

I was here at the end of spring and it wasn’t that crowded or busy but I’m sure it attracts lots of people in summer

Nice atmosfere, kids can also play in the sant. Good for famillies.

We had good experience in June. Strand wasn't too busy. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Food stalls are great, many varieties. Water was perfect. Good for all ages. There are volleyball nett, water polo 🥅 in the water, football and 3 volleyball sandy pitch outside. Plenty of trees, you can have a rest in the shadow. 32 degrees when we were there.

I really enjoyed my time here, Kisfaludy beach is much cheaper than Eszterházy. The food is great quality and cheap by beach standards, which was a welcome surprise. It has a huge green area for camping. You can rent sun beds for a small fee. There is also a water adventure park in Balaton which you can use for a limited time for a fee, and three water slides, you can buy a ticket there to use them all day. There is also a bar with seating on a pier which is really awesome. Overall I highly recommend this beach.
On the picture you can see our food we ordered at Nádasi buffet - roasted chicken with garlic and bacon with salad, and chicken done Füred style with steak fries.

Nice, calm place but difficult to come to the beach.

The beach is well kept and only a short walk away from the Balatonfüred marina. There are changing rooms, clean bathrooms, and a variety of food/drink places. There are also options for renting a small locker for a fee.

The beach is welcoming and very beautiful. You can relax in the shade next to the beach. I highly recommend it.

We felt good. Nice and clean place with good approach to water, especially for small kids.

Chair rental 1500 forints or 4.50 euros - worth it! You grab a chair and put it where you want it. Someone will come around and collect the money. CASH ONLY
You can pay by card to get in (1300 forints) but once you are inside, it is all cash only. Food is good.
I rode my bike and locked it up just inside the entrance. It's super safe here!! People don't usually lock up their bikes. I am making an assumption here but because you have to pay to get in, I felt like people felt confident leaving their stuff on their towels and chairs.
Bathrooms are SUPER clean and free. There are 3 buildings with toilets. There are outdoor showers to rinse off (no soap).

Huge area to occupy, great food, which is relatively cheap if you convert the price to EUR. Beach is nice ver popular choice among locals and Budapesters especially on weekends. Recommend for sure

Bigger than Eszterhazy strand so a bit easier to fins a spot. Very crowded on weekends.

Everything what is needed on a beach is there, it has a lot of food places a lot of space for children to play and for adults to have their relaxation time. If you are a sport fan, volleyball field and other sport gears are also available.

The lake is enormous, 600 sq miles in total!
We are staying in our motorhome in a car park minutes from the lakeside. The promenades are beautifully laid out and manicured with shady tree lined walkways (36° at the moment)

I have a friend who has a restaurant down there and my friend has been cooking meals for me all of last year when my father died kind of like a basket case and they came in and help me out and they took care of me when I couldn't take care of myself properly and for that I will always appreciate that and so until the end of time I'm going to refer business to them even though this is there last year in business I think we should make it a memorable one it is called Gaby. restaurant and they really do have excellent food much better than all of the other places around with big portions and excellent service even serving their dishes on China, well maybe perhaps China's pushing it but real plates anyway.

Definetley the best beach at Balatonfured, and maybe on a wider scale too. Cheap, well maintained, delicious foods in those small restaurants. Can be a little crowded sometimes when the weather is exceptionally good, but place for a towel can be found anytime.

Excellent place to bring the family. There are many places to eat and drink and the activities are endless. You can go down slides, take a dip in the Balaton, kayake, or rent a boat slide. Make sure to arrive early to get a good spot under a tree as there are many people. When walking down the path from the main area there are 2 entrances and the first one is always packed with people so keep going to the second one which is always empty. If you will be exploring the nearby areas it is best to do so by bicycle because everything is pretty far if you are walking. So grab your floaties and enjoy the lake!

Very good safe area. Well maintained. No dogs so great for kids. Water slides are good and only cost about £2.50 for all day. Food is great and loads to choose from.
