Sidonia Castle Hotel

Absolutly lovely! Was here for a work retreat and the place and staff are amazing! They were very helpful with my food allergies.

The hotel is on the edge of a small village behind the church, in a quiet environment. It has its own parking lot under the open sky. A well-kept park with tall trees, where you can take a pleasant 15-20 minute walk. The furnishings of the hotel itself are authentic, you can spend pleasant and relaxed days in the various halls. The staff is attentive, polite and prepared. The restaurant is of high quality, the selection of food is adequate, not unnecessarily diverse, extensive wine selection.

If you want to put your problems aside and relax for a day or a weekend, this hotel definitely offers a beautiful stay to enjoy a different weekend, its classic and elegant touch transports you to another era. I must extend thanks to the chef in charge of the restaurant because the food was fantastic. the staff in all areas were generally very nice, but while some made an effort to make you feel welcome and demonstrated excellent customer service, others were a bit so-so. In general, I am satisfied with my visit.

This is a lovely old castle in top repair and decorated in very good taste. It is located in a picturesque village in Hungary close to the Austrian Border. The gardens are superb and very well kept, the food is gourmet and the staff friendly and all speak well both German and English.

Well the room was a bit shabby but all the rest is just amazing! Stunning huge french-style garden and stylish interior design which took everything! Dinners are awesome, in and outdoor pools + saunas also great. And amazingly friendly and kind staff. Thank you for the few days we had great time!

Great classic atmosphere. Very clean and quiet. Super nice staff. If you want to chill out for some days perfect choice for some days. Enjoy the spa.

This place is a hidden gem. In the middle of nature so quiet and surrounded by a forest, secular trees.

Welness area is an oasis of tranquility, accomodation suits to every need - large rooms, sparkling clean, nice furniture and comfy beds.

Dinner menu can be a la carte or bufe and I tottaly recommend duck breast 😄.

A great place for a romantic wellness weekend, to relax and breath. Noble setting surrounded with 100+ year old trees and English park. The personal was extemly friendly. Unique atmosphere in an old chateau in the Hungarian countryside. Peace and quite guaranteed. The wellness part is also 5 stars: pool, sauna, steam, fitness room. Great service. The restaurant was just ok for dinner - the food was correct, nothing special. But the breakfast was fantastic.

Something that makes you feel like time travel. An amazing and very relaxing place hidden away. Only small issue is a church next door that rings at 6am for couple of minutes.... not ideal if you try to have a lie in

Fantastic accommodations! Excellent service and really, really beautiful grounds and garden. Did not get a chance to enjoy the spa but hope to do so next visit (and there will be a next visit for certain!)

A wonderful palace from 18th century. Tranquil environment, nice food.
