the food was very tasty, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. the staff is very helpful, fast and friendly. the ambiance is rustic, everything was clean. parking is free in front of the building. smokers have a closed terrace. definitely would visit again.

Fantastic food! Great options, really great portions. Garlic soup was phenomenal and their two person meat plate was incredible. We came for lunch and will definitely be back.

Great food and a quiet place where you can eat, especially if you are on M7 highway in tranzit. Totally recommend! I cannot comment on accomodation as i only visited the restaurant. Has private parking just off the road.

The food is very very good, tasty, big dosages and acceptable, I can say, low prices. The blueberry lemonade is one of the best I have ever drank. The conditions are 3 /5 ⭐ ( I think because is very popular) but If I will have the chance I will come back every time when I travel on m7 Highway (it is very close).

Friendly staff, the soups came very fast, even faster than the drinks.
Very nice noodle soup, I ordered 2 portions for myself 😅.
And the staff speaks English, we could understand each other very well with the guy who served us.

We stoped to eat something from our trip to Kukorica Csarda (after a small googlemaps research).
The place is nice, although it was very hot outside. We admire the old things from the barn).
The food is delicious, the goulash is delicious.
Also, the desserts (chessnut puree).
Great service. A small sugestion: to fresh up the salads (do not seems very fresh).

We ate there last weekend and it was a delightful experience. We most definitely enjoyed the ambience, the food and the service. Thumbs up to the staff.
I never eat soup but their cream vegetable soup really hit the spot along with everything else. The place is really clean and it was a great end to our trip to Budapest. We'd definitely love to go back.

Delicious food, wonderful music, very attentive staff, fine setting.
We enjoyed staying here for dinner very much. However, we highly recommend to reserve a table beforehand. Otherwise, you might be rejected.

The reputation of the restaurant intrigued me so finally I had a chance to stop by and I was pleased by the dining experience down to the quality of the napkins they use . A real quality experience that is rare to find nowadays.
The food and the service equally superb! Hope that you too experience what I had!

Very good restaurant, good service and nice location.

Fantastic restaurant: nice place, very good food, nice service and very reasonable price. Plates are very elegant and tasteful. The best place to eat of our trip from Italy until now. Glad we found this. To mention the menu in english too and all prices also in Euros with the possibility to pay the bill in Euros.

Fantastic Hungarian cousine, everything was fresh and delicious. We didn't wait long. Not expensive. High recomended!

I would dare to call this one, one of the best restaurants on the entire south shore of Lake Balaton. The restaurant looks very nice, and it is absolutely enormous. It has very hungarian country feel to it, which is very pleasant to lool at. The restaurant has its own huge parking lot. The food seems a bit expensive at first but the excelent quality, and the generous portions more than make up for it. Service quality is flawless. Wait times for food
may vary, first time it was reasonably long, second time it came out very quickly. The restaurant is nearly spotless.The restaurant offers tableside violin, and it's quite pleasant. The restaurant's menu has a whole section dedicated for children, for children it also offers a very nice playground. The restaurant is also very animal friendly, and have no problem serving even our furry companions. All these good qualities reflect in the restaurantd popularity, one would be hard pressed to find it less than half full. 10/10 would and will come again

Amazing food, giant portions, great prices

The location is great, there is a nice parking space intside the yard of the restsurant; the food is beyond any expectations - lots of local dishes, there are also dishes for kids; and the portions are really big-american big and the prices....incredible cheap for the great quality you get!!! Full of germans and austrians every time we went. They also have a terace for eating outside.

Truly authentic place and dishes. We had fish meals and each was really good and more than enough (it's a common hungarian csarda portion)
What makes it standing out from the crowd: staff friendliness and professionalism and the clean and hygenic toilette (believe me it is not at all common around Balaton)
The kids loved the playground.
The terrasse is fantastically calm.

This 'csárda' has an authentic rural atmosphere, quality furniture. The choice to eat indoor or outdoor is given. There's a nice garden with a small playground for children and apple and pear trees that actually yield. I've seen guests with dogs in the outdoor section, so this is definitely a dog friendly restaurant. There's ample parking place, although it lies a bit too close to the dining area, however, this is a limitation of the site, not of the design. Worth mentioning, the toilettes are clean and neat, regularly taken care of. Also, there's a diaper changer for babies.
There's a great selection of Hungarian dishes, wines and 'pálinka', and the food is really really good. The portions are generous and aesthetically pleasing.
The staff is friendly, communicative and there should be no problem for you to make yourself understood if you speak German or English.
Credit cards accepted.
The charming lake Balaton and a toll-free, yet nicely maintained beach is located nearby, look for 'Balatonberény, Csicsergő sétány'! Also, there are pay-to-enter and naturists beaches in its close vicinity (~3-4 km).
Prices are great for the area, especially when considering the quality of service you get.
Definitely worth visiting.
