It is a location with a special vibe. The old wineries inside the mountains give you a feeling of going back in time. If you are a wine drinker and you are traveling around this place you must stop here. The best wine I drank here. you can taste several dishes, talk to the producers and learn the history of the wineries. The tasting price starts from 400ft / 1 dl, and you can buy poured wine starting from the price of 2000ft 2 l bottle.I especially recommend the Kocsis family winery.

A beautiful location on the outskirts of Eger city, with more than fifty historic wine caves selling local wines and food.

Beautiful valley with many cellars, great wines, perfect bread with onion. Also a playground for kids and places to sit in the park with fireplaces.

Wine paradise... you can taste lots of variety of Hungarian wine....and then decide which you want bulk buying. If you become regular customer some of the wine cave shops offer Hungarian traditional dishes like hot goulash soup.... its best experience....

Great place to visit for wine lovers. There are lots of cave cellars and nice areas to sit and enjoy the wine. Good parking and nice surrounding area

Loved it. We walked there from downtown (takes about 30 minutes). It was a nice stroll and helped us sober up on the way back! The wine was great, the sellers kind. There were locals celebrating in the park. Truly szép (beautiful)!

Many, many wine cellars with many, many different and delicious kind of wines. When you visit this valley you can do cellars hopping. There is more than 30 of them, some even have live music.

Some hits, some misses, but this is a Must-Do in Eger! Torma pince wines are by far superior to everything else out there, try the REM 2013 - an AMAZING blend. Just fantastic, as is their work with Kekfrankos (skip the Bikaver - it's just an inferior grape!)

If you like wine, this is a must-visit place of the region. Most wineries will be happy to offer you some samples and most of them are rather on the great side in taste. Bulk wines have the greatest price to value ratio yet I can not say the bottled ones wouldn't be worth their prices. This place has a really great milieu to it, but prepare yoi wouldn't want to be the one who's driving.

The prices have gone up over the years but luckily so has the quality of the wine. It’s no longer a matter of luck! Most of the cellars have their own toilets too now.

We went on a Monday evening and not a lot was open. They also closed at 20:00 but very good (and cheap) wines! Definitely take some home!
