The place offer excellent view of the west Balaton, but the menu offered by the restaurant exceeded our expectations, although we read a lot about them. Congrat to the team.

We spent two nights there and it was great :) Our flight was delayed so we came late in the evening (around 22 45) and the owner still welcomed us with a glass of sparkling wine. Breakfast was delicious with many Hungarians homemade specials (ham, cheese, and slami). They do not have bikes to rent,but feel free to ask the owner to book one for you in advance by the local bike rental. highly recommended if you want to see the nature around - Badacsony or Szigliget castle. Consider renting electric bike 🤭 hills around Balaton Lake are challenging 😆

We were only in a restaurant, not in apartments. Great food. Everything was really delicious. Lots of small courses, total 10. But for us, the best thing was service, polite, professional, tidy. Great experience with a beautiful view. We had luck because we came without reservation and at the right time. They serve dinner at an exact time and only with reservations. I have no complaints at all.

We had the degustation menu with the wine selection and the cheese plate at the end.

Lets just say the foods were excellent and the chef brought us on an amazing journey with the dishes. The quality and taste of the foods were astonishing.

The owner greeted us personally with the house’ own elderflower sparkling wine which is amazing. But every waiter was amazing and you really felt welcomed. They really know their things and they also answered all our questions regarding the food (if what we experienced tastewise on the ingredients were correct or not).

I would like to thank everyone’s performance and work yesterday, because what we had as an experience is something truly out of this world.

For me the best courses were the soup, the lecsó and the tokhal. These 3 set the bar so high, nobody will top them for many years.

What a gastronomic experience. The owners Petra and Peter does this place from the heart. We felt like home in this quite and breathtakingly beautiful bed&breakfast!

I can't even put our experience into words. Excellent fine-dining experience with such chillout atmosphere, the staff made us truly feel welcomed and home. I mean to us this is true hospitality! Kudos to all who works there!
Book yoursel table, go for the full menu with the wine pairing, you'll not regret it!

Young, fresh, interesting! Once the steep stairway escaladed, you are feeling yourself as a real guest. Awaited with a glass of house made Hugo, seated on a terrace with a stunning view, you probably don’t expect much more. But you have the food, and what a food! Another landmard you should not miss!

One of the best restaurants in Hungary, fine and exclusive food, great crew, outstanding view and location, only one bad point, lots of mosquitoes. Before going to this wonderful place, protect yourselves and you'll spend a magnificent evening !!! Highly recommended to newly wed couples !!!!😊

The reviews are not wrong: this is probably the best fine dining experience one can have in the region. Friendly, professional service from start to end, very chilled and easygoing atmosphere with amazing views. I highly recommend the tasting menu (and to leave plenty of time for it: we stayed over 2 hours).

Fabulous views. After navigating the narrow road, parking, and 50m steep walk from the park we were warmly welcomed by courteous staff and a complimentary home made apple wine! 2 courses each and drinks for a family of four cost us €85, and on the whole well worth it.

Home away from home. If you are English speaking, this is the place to stay around the Lake; he owners were very friendly and welcoming; the meal was equisit yet very budget friendly compared to western Europe and England especially; and a lot is home grown and locally sourced. Excellent stay all round.

Awesome! The kindest waiter I've ever been serviced by, the best food I've ever had in my life and I'm not even exaggerating. Well worth the price. You can have your doggie unleashed, they even give you water and a plaything for your dog. Excellent restaurant.

One of the best places I've been so far. Lovely rooms and stuff, great food and wine from local sources. It's like staying at your friend's. 😊

Unfortunately we couldn't eat there because we had no reservation, and they were full even on Monday noon. But from what we've seen, it must be a really pleasant place to eat, so we'll return for sure. The view is breathtaking.

The food is amazing, staff is obviously doing it as if it was their own - because it is :) Great experience, the view is amazing, so is the homemade/selected wine. Would recommend to anyone who would like to get a real taste of Balaton!

We visited Villa Kabala's restaurant on a march evening just before easter. We where in for a real treat. They let us stay on their porch to enjoy the sunset over lake Balaton. Their had written the days menu in english just for us, as they knew we where coming that evening. We where the only guests this evening, but it was a great experience, and they made us feel very much at home. Everyone was so genuine, helpfull and laid-back. The food is a story for itself, a fine dining experience in a homely environment. It was delicious and beautifully made. I would recommend everyone paying a visit to Villa Kabala when in the area. I hope to go back again sometime.

Very nice place on a fantastic location! Lovely reception with drinks when we arrived. We ordered the rib eye which was made very good. Wines super too! Must try

We were there for a dinner. Fabulous view from the terrace, very friendly and professional staff and service. Delicious food and cosy atmosphere. Call them to reserve a table as they are quite small. Absolutely recommended!

Certainly the best restaurant I have been to in Hungary outside of Budapest. Amazing ambience, location/view, food and service that is second to none.
