Gastland M1 Restaurant

It's a great place to enjoy a rich, delicious, Hungarian-style lunch or dinner when you pass by Budapest in the direction of Vienna. The environment, the equipment of the restaurant, and most of the food and drinks served evoke the atmosphere of the classic Hungarian inn, with simple but always clean wooden tables, benches and coloured tablecloths. The terrace resembles the brick-paved courtyard of a farmhouse, spacious and airy. Parking is possible free of charge in the parking lot in front of the entrance to the courtyard. There are certainly busy periods, but so far I have always managed to find free parking place.

The menu is presented in four languages (Hungarian, German, English, Romanian), regularly updated, even adapted to the seasons. Appetizers, soups, main courses and desserts – there's always a consistent list to choose from, they hit the flavours well, and the portions are large rather than sufficient. Whether it is an adult or a child, everyone will find themselves a tasty, fresh, decent-quality meal and will definitely not leave the place hungry. The staff is kind, attentive and service-minded, they try to serve the dear guest quickly and in a quality that exceeds the expectations of a tavern.

I live nearby, so my path often leads me past the restaurant. For more than 15 years, as a returning guest, I have dined here many times: alone, with family, in a group of friends, with locals or foreigners, young or old. So far, I have received only satisfied feedback from everyone. They are continuously, reliably keeping, and often exceeding the gastronomic quality that a traveller can expect from a tavern in his path.

Conveniently placed on the highway, gas station nearby. Clean, large and affordable rooms. Really friendly and professional staff. I was there with a group of 12 people and they did everything possible to help and support us. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very pretty. The receptionist lady is nice. The food is good. Just it would be useful if they put some more English labels or menu to help you in the restaurant. Anyway this hotel is located on an international high way and many people from different countries come here and they don't know Hungarian.

Food was great. The waiter offered me to charge my phone securely at the bar. When I took it back its display was broken.

Great place! Absolutely Delicious food with a more than reasonable price and a huge variety of Hungarian dishes, Beautiful rooms, literally out of a fairytale, nice decor, friendly and caring staff, the Manager Bence is the kindest man ever and took care of all our needs, i highly recommend this place.

Good place on high way ,and amazing food

These guys just saved my day, they know what good service is. Beautiful place excellent service. Some shops could learn loads from these guys. I will be back next time I cross Europe.

On our way to Wenen we had a 30 min stop here. Bought 3 apple juice, went to the small outdoor playground with our kids and had a good time. Toilet also OK!
