It became a tradition to stop by at this restaurant any time I visit Tokaj. It is about once or twice a year. My usual order is the fishermans’soup and the goose liver. Both of them are consistently superb quality. I adventured off to try some of the other dishes and it never disappointed.
The interior very authentic, loved the glazed clay fireplace in the middle. The view is right on to the river.
Prices are the usual higher end restaurant prices but in exchange the portions are more then generous. One order is easily feeds 2 people.
The staff is attentive , speaks well in different languages no barriers there.
Overall safely recommended to any visitors.

Excellent food in a nice restaurant near the river. Lots of Hungarian culinary specialties, of course there is Tokaj wine. The service is very nice, the meals were quickly prepared and affordable. There is a large free parking lot right next to the restaurants. It is not a problem to find a seat inside or on the patio.

Delicious meal. Had stuffed pork loin. Amazing flavour. One of the best meals in Hungary. Wine is great.

When we entered we were greeted warmly and showed us to our table. It wasn't mega busy, but as it was February, not exactly a high season, and lunch time too, it wasn't a surprise.

The atmosphere and the ambience of the restaurant was a traditional last century hungarian home, with tools and items from that era. It looked lovely and inviting.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did everything to accommodate our requests.

The food was delicious. The only thing I could send as a feedback to the chef, that the 'Felföldi szelet juhtúrós sztrapacskával' was a bit interesting with too much going on on the plate. The taste of the red sauce on the meat was clashing with the taste of the 'juh túró'. They're are tasty on their own, but we found the two taste a bit overwhelming on the same plate.
But the rest of the meals were absolutely delicious. We could not find any fault in the look or the taste of our food.

The oven baked pancake in a vanilla sauce (see pic), was also fantastic.

I would also recommend the pickled cabbage, as a side dish.

Very nice and tasty traditional Hungarian food, serviced by professional staff. Warm welcome, and while you try choosing some of the delicious dishes, your drink is already on your table. The price is good as the foods. Absolutely worth it every dishes or salad etc. Recommended for everyone, families, friends, couples.

Lovely, quiet location on the banks of the river and great views. Ordered fisherman soup. It was delicious. Pleasant service.

The food was superb and they gave the option to pack the food we couldn’t finish as takeaway!

We all ate the Tokaj fish soup and it was delicious. I also recommend the Furmint dry wine.

One of the greatest Fisch & Hungarian food Restaurant in the Tokaj region. Near from Bank of the Tisza. Exact : Clean, quick, friendly. Parking is free. The prices very good.

Loved the outdoor view from the terrace. Great ambiance, right next to the Tisza river. Free parking. Clean rest rooms. Really good food and drink options on the menu. Everything we ordered, was absolutely delicious, the portions were abundant, even for a tall guy like me. The waiters were friendly, attentive, quick and kind. Highly recommended! Next time I am in Tokaj, I am coming back for sure.

The pork chops here are very good, and the fish soup is even more delicious. If I can eat here in winter, I will try it again. Because it will warm your heart like the service here ❤

What a meal!!! Great food, large portions, excellent prices. The staff were so lovely and the location right near the river is excellent. A great choice for an authentic Hungarian meal.

Nice crew, quick service, good food, all the alergens mentioned in the menu by every food. They also have glutenefree and milkfree options, mentioned in the menu. The local wine is very good, called 'Zeta', try the dry version or the late harvest sweet version. :)

The location is nice, the waiter was also kind and helpful. The food is tasty and plenty. The price is not cheap, but is affordable.
On our next trip to Tokaj we will sure revisit this place. I recommend for everyone.

Perfect restaurant near rivers Tizsa And Bodrog in Tokaj region. Good sort od food And wines,excellent for lunch or dinner.

Big portions, you won't get out of this place hungry. Nice location, by the river. It was hard to get a table outside. Recommend!

If you want to have a super tasty meal (specially the fishes) with some local Tokaj wine. Service is perfect. I really recomend.
