Celebrating my mother's retirement at Jelen Salaš was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and courtesy that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

I had made a special request to bring a cake for my mother's retirement celebration, and I was thrilled by how graciously they accommodated it, without any additional charge.

Our servers were the epitome of professionalism, being not only attentive but also incredibly honest and accommodating. Their extensive knowledge of the menu was apparent as they provided insightful recommendations that perfectly complemented our preferences. It was evident that they took great pride in their work, and their passion translated into a dining experience that felt truly personalized and memorable.

Overall, our experience at Jelen Salaš surpassed all expectations, and we will undoubtedly be back for more :)

Hidden gem in northern Serbia, rustic expirience that takes you a century back in time with its carefully selected farmyard tools and furniture. The food is a mixture of hungarian and serbian cuisine, locally produced and served with a bright smile. Five stars are not enough to rate the place, we will be recommending Jelen Salaš to everyone and hoping to return in the future.

Excellent accommodation. Food very tasty and varied. The service is perfect. The staff is friendly and very charming. Close to the highway in perfect nature.

We arrived late on Sunday evening and had lovely dinner. Choice was short but good, we picked specially coocked veal. On the hind side, they are a bit pricey, on par with Belgrade top restaurants.

Spectacular food and wonderful atmosphere. Albert is a treasure, highly recommend :))

The goulas was to die for. The service was good(although not the fastest in the world), and good english was spoken. The playground for kids was also ok. Will definitely come back for the food.

This place has old school charm. Totally a chilled and laidback place to relax if you are on vacation in this area.
Met a very beautiful kind hearted lady who just didn't show me the rakija ( traditional Serbian whiskey) making equipment but also explained it beautifully and also giveme some to try. Also they served me with some free coffee. ( Which was bonus for me on that cold rainy day).. much love to this place.

The place was amazing! The food was so delicious and inexpensive! Waiter Božidar was so pleasant and everything that he suggested was spot on! The best waiter I've encountered so far! Every recommendation!

We flipped a coin between this restaurant and Abraham. The coin said Jelen Salas and we are so glad! The place is amazing!

Portions are big & food is delicious. The waiter Dule was so kind and pleasant!

Fun fact: At the end we ordered Coca Cola and we saved one orange from the meal, and they brought a plate full of oranges cause they noticed.

The food was really good and the waiter (Luka) was friendly and offered great advice on meal selection and portion size. I definitely plan on going back to try something else off their menu. :) Keep in mind that the photo of the menu is a short version for Labor day, usually it's longer with a huge variety of dishes. PS you have to try their ragu soup

Perfect service, perfect food. So delicious and portions are super big. You can easily split the portion with someone. This is coming from a guy with 112kg. :)

Excellent service and ambience, food is exceptional

Two friends and I stopped in here on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I loved the outdoor seating, the atmosphere and the decor! We received great service from our konobar named Milos. The lamb was absolutely delicious and so was my sopska salad. My only complaint is that they don't have large draft beers, only small bottles.

Verry plesemt place with nice service and ambient

A lovely place to have a romantic meal. This was by far the best karađorđeva šnicla I have had in all of Serbia. I traveled across this country in a whirlwind tour and the best karađorđeva šnicla.

Excellent rustic atmosphere, good food. Near lake Palic between feelds and countrieside houses. A good place for celebrations or just to take one drink. Playground for the children and a small Swimmingpool. There is a possibility to rent a room. Very polite and guest friendly service. I can recomand it for everyone.
