Definitely a must visit. Best as part of 3-4 nights live-aboard cruise around Komodo so you can arrive early in the morning before the tourist crowd arrives. View from the top is magnificent but the hike can be challenging for older people. Drone must pay a fee for flying permit not sure what rate is nowadays.

The best place for a morning hike to the top for a 360 view from this island. Komodo national park is really wonderful.

Can be very crowded, but the view is amazing! Please wear sunscreen and a hat. Bring lots of water! Try to hike before 10am otherwise you’re gonna be cooked…

The hike is quite easy since there are stairs till the top, though towards the top the stairs are further apart and not as smooth.

Padar Island, part of the Komodo National Park, boasts mesmerizing landscapes with panoramic viewpoints. The island has rugged hills, and clear turquoise waters. A trek to the summit rewards visitors with breathtaking view of surrounding islands, creating an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.

been to this place 3 times, it got kinda worse each time. I know the stairs were made to help people get to the top easier, but I wish they'd just maintained the path without making the stairs. The views were still amazing nonetheless. You can enjoy both sunrise and sunset from this island, and the beaches are of different color, so stunning. Would really love to go back to Padar island.

I think padar island is my best experience ini labuan bajo and komodo island trip. Hiking the hill of padar island is mandatory for you who comes to labuan bajo. There are 5 posts here, and because it's the sun is already high around 10 am, i just hiked to post 3. It's very hot and no shelters at all. You may come here earlier to avoid much sun heat that prevents you to do more activities. Its pink beach is also very beautiful. You should try snorkeling and swimming the this beach

For me, this is the most beautiful island in Komodo National Park area, its looks like a piece of heaven on earth😍 you will see great views thats you will never see in another place, especially if you come at sunrise or sunset. From the top you will see a different beach in one frame with different sand, black, white, and pink.

Spectacular views that are worth the hype and worth the short hike up to the top. Note that while there are some areas offering shade for brief reprieves from the sun, they’re quite limited so do ensure to have proper clothing, sunscreen, and water to help protect against the effects from the sun.

One of the most wonderful islands near Labuan Bajo with quite a challenging hike up the hill for a magnificent view of 3 beaches with the black sand, the white sand and the pink sand on the 3 sides of the island.

The stairs became loose rocks and dirt as you go higher on the trail and it sometimes narrowed into a one person path where you need to take turn between the people going up and going down the hill.

Bring you hat and hidration along on this hike cause it is hot and without any trees to shelter you from the heat, you hat is your best friend.

Wonderful views! Deer also can be spotted on the island. The sun is very intense and you should bring a towel, lots of water and sun protection. We were fine with the stairs but in the heat, it can be challenging to those less mobile especially in extreme heat.

Bucket list place.
No chance you go to Flores or even Indonesia and you don't add this place to the list. It's out of this world!!! Small hike to the top, you ll like it

Heaven on earth. The scenery is extraordinary. You can see on of the best God's best creation in here. You have to see it for yourself!!! However the journey to top of the mountain is such a struggle. It is not recommended for elderly, people who have heart and lung disease.

Absolutely breathtaking view at the top, note that you need to go approximately 800 stairs to be able to reach the top, so prepare yourself. However, the journey is very worth it once you reach there.

Padar Island is part of the Komodo National Park in Indonesia. The most stunning part of Padar Island is the amazing panoramic view of the three bays at the highest point on the island. It took some hiking (about an hour or so) to get to the summit. You will be perspiring and panting but not overly strenuous. But the magnificent view is totally worth it.

Spectacular views from Padar Island over the rest of Komodo. We went here as part of a tour for the sunset. I was speaking to other people who went for sunrise and they informed it was very busy but we didn’t find it too busy the time we went. Steps to the top and a number on view points on the way up.
