Lenmakana Stingless Jellyfish Lake

I wish someone told me to use a proper shoes for this hike as first you need to hike up for around 15 minutes and than go down to the lake. The road is full of really sharp stones and hike in sandals was not the best idea.
Also despite these jellyfishes are stingless they left a few small marks on my friends, so if you are allerguc you might should thinking about wearing a tshirt, rushguard or anything else to protect yourself. And remember than vinegar is a perfect cure for jellyfish sting Anyway its absolutely fantastic place and definitely must visit place

A little hiking but need to be very careful.

Misool has 2 lakes with stingless jellyfish. The other lake have different species and easier path.

Known locally as Danau Ubur-Ubur Lanmakana, this is one of only 3 such inland lakes inhabited by jellyfish in the world, others in Philippines. It's quite remote and only accessible by a small cruise ship from West Papua (Sorong). Large cruise ships were banned from entering the area after one caused damage to the coral. After reaching the island, it is a moderately difficult climb to the top of the ridge then down to the lake. The climb is not so much physically demanding as dangerous. You swim with the jellyfish, none of them sting. There are a lot of them! Unique experience.
